Select Season:
ROOKIE
Students in kindergarten, entry level play, focusing on fundamentals and basic rules of baseball. A soft baseball is used, batting off a tee, all players bat and play in the field, no strikes, no outs, no score...just
plenty of FUN!!

STAR
1st grade, similar to Rookie League with coaches pitching and catching.

CHALLENGER
The challenger league is a unique opportunity for children who have developmental disabilities to participate in Little League Baseball ages 5-18.

FARM
2nd and 3rd grades, most little league rules
are followed. Continues focus on baseball
fundamentals, use of a pitching machine, swinging strikeouts and 3 out innings. Playing 2 years in Farm League is common in order to allow players to gain the skills/confidence necessary at the Minor level.

MINORS
3rd - 5th grades, players pitch and little league rules are followed, umpires call
balls/strikes, scores and team standings are kept. Player evaluations conducted to assist with team assignment. Teams are eligible for post-season tournaments and players for All-Stars.

MAJORS
5th - 7th grades, players pitch the ball faster and more accurately, hit the ball harder and field much better. Player evaluations conducted to assist with team assignment. Teams are eligible for post-season tournaments and players for All-Stars.

JUNIOR
7th - 9th grades, a standard baseball is used and games are played on a 90 ft diamond. Most professional baseball rules are followed. Games are played against other MV teams as well as teams from Marin
County.

SENIOR
9th-10th grades, many of these players are
members of high schools teams. Since high school players are not allowed to play in other programs while the high school season is in progress, this little league season begins in May and ends in late June.

BIG
11th-12th grades, most of these players are
members of high schools teams. Since high school players are not allowed to play in other programs while the high school season is in progress, this little league season begins in May and ends in late June.
