Milford Lacrosse:Boosters
Monday, November 19

Boosters are always in need and turn out to be a very important component to a successful program

This spring, we will need volunteers to work the games so the JV players families can enjoy their athlete's games while the JV is playing and then  allow the varsity players families enjoy their athlete's game.  If we all help then it will not be too much for one person.  There are only 16 home games (8 JV/ 8 Var). More information coming in early 2008

Milford Lacrosse would like to thank Mrs Deeney for all her work in 2007 lacrosse season in taking the lead with all the booster items.

Tips for Being a Supportive Milford Parent

Being the parent of a Milford HS athlete can be an exciting and memorable adventure.  This is a wonderful way to share your child's high school athletic experience.

  1.   Be POSITIVE
    1. The attitudes of the parents/supporters is contagious.
  2.  Be Supportive of your athlete's coaching staff
    1. Please inform the coach of any comments or concerns you may have just choose the right place and situation for it.  If you disagree or want to encourage them, set up a time for a private meeting away from the athletes.
  3.  Be a Part of the Parent Network (Boosters)
    1. The best way to express concern or to help with the progress of a team is to be involved.  Volunteer!  The attitudes of the parents/supporters is contagious.

"My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging." - Hank Aaron
