The Coaches, Players, & Parents of the Heartbreaker Fastpitch Softball Teams would like to encourage every team to hold a prayer before every game. Let us honor God in everything we do.

If there was a such thing as the stars all being lined up then May 16 was the day for the Heartbreakers.  Playing 5 games the Heartbreakers scored an amazing 33 runs and only allowing 1 run.  There was only 1 fielding error and 1 pitching error throunghout the entire tournament.  With agressive fielding and baserunning it just seemed the Heartbreakers were ready for whatever the other team threw at them.  Jill Coleraine and Morgan Woodard put on an awesome pitching show.  It was either hit the ball or sit down for the other teams that day.  Nikki Taylor started the tourney with 2 triples as the lead off batter but it was the entire 10 lady roster that hit the ball when needed, threw runners out, and kept the teams shut out to take the ease off the pitchers.  Special shout out to Kate Barcroft for 2 on the run layout attempts in right field, in which 1 was a caught ball and the other ball knocked down, getting up, and throwing the runner out trying to push it to a double.  Blair Hubble caught all 5 games throwing out runners at 1st, 2nd, & 3rd while tagging out several runners trying to make it home.  Although the Heartbreakers are listed as an 18u team all players are eligible to play 16u ball except for one 17 year old.  The Heartbreakers will be off to Martin next weekend to see if once again it is in the stars to play some awesome softball.
