Camp Details


Shooting School


June 13 - 14, 2009


Grades: Rising 3rd-12th grade girls



This camp is for the basketball player who really wants to improve their shooting. Each player will have the opportunity to take advantage of individual instruction through drill work to help your
shooting fundamentals.

  • Open to all rising 3rd—rising 12th grade girls

  • Camp will run approximately 9:00AM to 4:00PM on Saturday and Sunday.

  • All-inclusive charge of $150 includes lunch, insurance, camp shirt, and instruction



Cost:

Commuter - $150

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is due on May 13, 2009 and the remaining balance is due May 29, 2009.



Day Camp


June 15 - 18, 2009


Grades: Rising 3rd-12th grade girls



This camp stresses fundamental and advanced basketball skills for both the beginner and the experienced player.

  • Open to rising 3rd—rising 12th grade girls

  • Camp will run approximately 9:00AM to 4:00PM Monday through Thursday.

  • All-inclusive charge of $250.00 includes lunch, insurance, camp shirt, and instruction



Cost:

Commuter - $250

Team Camp


June 26-27, 2009


Grades: JV, Varsity HS, and AAU Teams Only



There is no online registration for camp. Please call 336-758-5763 for further information on registering your team. A $100 Non-Refundable deposit reserves your team a spot in camp. Reservations are based on a first come, first serve basis and are limited. Please return the attached application along with the deposit in order to solidify your spot in the 2009 Mike Petersen Team Camp. *Deposit must accompany application.*


  • Each team is guaranteed to play at least 5 games over the three day period.
  • Teams will be paired against teams of equal size and skill level as best as possible.
  • Games will be played in three sessions (morning, afternoon and evening).
    Game Rules:
  • Each game will consist of 2 - 20 minute halves.
  • The clock will run until the last minute of the first half and the last two minutes of the second half.
  • Further rules will be given upon receipt of application and deposit.
  • All games will be officiated by certified HS officials.

Additional Information


The 2009 Mike Petersen Basketball Camps will be held on the campus of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. The camp is designed to make you a better basketball player and features teaching in all aspects of the game for all skill levels through fundamental and advanced skill instruction, individual competition (one-on-one and three-on-three), and team competition.



FACILITIES:

The camp will be held at the state-of-the-art Miller Center and at Reynolds Gymnasium. Both facilities are air-conditioned and located on the campus of Wake Forest University.



MEALS:

Meals will be served in the newly renovated university dining hall located in Reynolds Hall. The fresh food company offers a variety of options including: salad bar, deli bar, pasta station, along with other featured items of the day.
