Swimming / Diving / Water Polo 2008


Committee Positions


1.      Swim Chair and C0-Chairs: Madeleine Treesh, Anne Geissinger, Virginia Dwyer-Aoyama

 

         Oversight of swim program.  Serves as the FCSLA representative.  Hires  swim personnel.   

2.      Diving Chair: Susan Collins/Allsion Shanahan


          Oversight of diving program. 


3.      Water Polo Chair:_________________ 

          Oversight of water polo program. 

 

4.      Green Meet Coordinators (3): Mary Anne Loh, Tish Whitney, Deb Wohlberg


          Organize volunteers for 6 green meets --- timers, ribbon writers, score keepers


5.      White Meet Coordinator: ______________


          Organize volunteers for 2 to 4 white meets -- timers, ribbon writers


6.      DCSLA Rep/Championship Coordinators : Lisi Rutledge


         DCSLA Rep; coordinate Darien Swim and Dive Championships and Darien Relays


7.      FCSLA Championship Coordinator: Nancy Tyler


         Organize all volunteers required for 3 championship meets:  Divisionals, Counties and Nickname Relays


8.      Social Chairs (2): _______________________________


         Organize 2 to 3 spirit team dinners and ice cream social at suit try on day; recognize graduating swimmers at last home meet 


9.      Banquet Chairs (2-3): Ann Dixon, __________________ 


         Organize banquet committee: invitations, tent rental, catering, audio-visual, set-up, decorations and sign-ups.


10.    Ribbons Coordinator: Kathy Larkins


         Prepare ribbons for all home green and white meets; purchase ribbons as required


11.    Scoring Coordinators (2): Kathy Larkins, Mary Anne Loh


         Train and coordinate a team of scorers for dual meets; assist green meet coordinators in scheduling volunteers for the 6 green meets


12.    Trophies:  Kathy Larkins


         Order and label end of season trophies.  Set up trophies for the banquet.


13.    Team Photographers:

         Takes photos at select meets and water polo matches; provides photos to coach for publicity; collaborates with the DVD production.

          Maintain the Eteamz website; train coaches on Eteamz website; provide updated swim/dive/water polo information to MSX  Club website administrator.


15.    DVD Production:Veronica Scribano


         Create DVD for the end of season banquet (pictures provided by team photographers)


16.    Team Suit Coordinator: Nancy Tyler

         Select team suit in conjunction with swim and diving chairs; coordinate the suit try-on day
