MLL will hold late registration for the 2010 baseball season in February.

MLL 2010 SUMMER ALL STAR UPDATE
The MLL Board of Directors, based on recommendations from the Finance Committee, discussed and voted to increase Summer All Star fees to $150 per player. All Star tryouts for 9's, 10's, and 11's will be held at the end of May, more information will follow.

Attention Tobacco Smokers
The MLL Board of Directors voted to allow smoking in the parking lot areas of our baseball complexes. Please refrain from smoking outside of the parking lot areas. Smoking is not allowed on or around the baseball fields and baseball players. Thank you for your cooperation.

Calendar Fund Raiser Returns
MLL is bringing back "calendars" as a fund raiser. Each MLL player will be given 5 calendars to sell to loved ones. The calendars will sell for $5 each. MLL will award $100 every day during the month of June to 30 lucky winners. Prizes will also be given to the highest sellers in each division. Deadline for calendar sales will be May 1st, 2010.
Other upcoming events:
there will be an umpire clinic held in February (info TBA)
a coaches clinic will be held in March (info TBA)
adult dances are scheduled for 4/23 and 5/22 (check league calendar for details)
OPENING DAY is scheduled for April 10th

Committees Formed
The MLL Board of Directors voted to form 3 new committees at last night's meeting. The Executive Committee members are as follows: Ron Holmgren, Skeeter Porter, Ken Harding, Mike D'Errico, and Jen Brogan. The Finance Committee members are: Donna Foley, Paul Anderson, and John Cannavo. The Buildings & Grounds Committee members are: Jeff Cummings, Ken Harding, Jim Yeskewicz, and Dick Sinnott.
