We've lost a good friend and great ball player, Chuck Coughran
Bob Wells and Roy DePue's team ABC just lost a team mate, good friend and great ball player, Chuck Coughran. Saturday, May 30, 2009 Chuck was playing ball for first time this season with a Walmart team in Mayfield, KY. It was his first game with this team, he had been working for Walmart and had been scheduled to work at the same dates the games were scheduled. His boss new that Chuck loved this game and let him off Saturday to play ball. Chuck lived about an hour and a half from the fields. His team mates said, "that Chuck arrived over an hour early and was very excited about being able to play ball". Michael, Chuck's wife and sole-mate since highschool said, "Chuck was running in from the outfield when he grab his chest and fell to the ground and was pronounced dead at the field from a persumed heart attack. Chuck joined our 55-63 division in early 2008 and drove over 2 hours (one way) every week to pay on team ABC. He was a great outfielder and great hitter, last season Chuck hit 613 and drove in 32 runs. Chuck was also on Team ABC 60's travel team and was planning on being with the team this coming wekend in a SSUSA tournament in Louisville, KY. Our hearts and prayers go out to Chuck's wife Michael and all his family. Chuck will be greatly missed by all of us but he will now be playing ball for the number one team and watching over us. Chuck was born Jan 16, 1944 and passed away May 30, 2009 he was 65 years young. Michael and family will be in Washington (Chuck's Home) next week to cellebrate Chuck's life with a memoral to Chuck with team mates and family, his ashes will be spread on the ball filed which he loved. We miss you.

It's with a great deal of sadness in our hearts that we must make you aware that our friend, coach and fellow ball player has passed on to be with his creator. Bill will be missed by all of us. Bill had a heart attack at home and passed away a few days later at the hospital. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Nancy and family.
