Welcome to Mid-City Little League! San Diego's oldest Little League - serving kids and community since 1949!
Mid-City Little League is singularly committed to the development of character and sportsmanship. By providing the area's youth with a safe, healthy, and accepting enviroment in which to learn the fundamentals of baseball, Mid-City Little League instills values that promote citizenship and community responsibility. Toward this end, Mid-City Little League attracts dedicated volunteers who serve as role models and embrace the opportunity to teach life lessons through baseball. Mid-City Little League is, and always will be, a volunteer-operated, non-profit institution in which a diverse community comes together to offer its children an opportunity for fun and learning, not just about the great game of baseball, but about what a community can accomplish together.

| Hey, how old are those kids! |
Wednesday, April 18
Fenway Park is one of the most beloved and historic ballparks during the past century, and Edgeware Gallery will celebrate Fenway’s 100th anniversary on April 20, 2012 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m, and opening day Saturday April 21, 2012 from noon to 3:00 p.m. at the Edgeware Gallery 4186 Adams Ave, San Diego, CA 92116, corner of Adams Ave. and Edgeware Rd.
Art and authentic artifacts will be on display at Edgeware Gallery until April 30.
Fenway Park was the home field for Hall of Famer Ted Williams, who is one of the best hitters ever to play the game of baseball. However, Ted’s real home town is San Diego, and his boyhood house in North Park sits less than 2 ½ miles from Edgeware.
The first 25 visitors wearing Red Sox-related gear will receive a free baseball with a smear of actual dirt from Fenway Park.
Some of the art and artifacts on display at Edgeware Gallery include: Art work related to Fenway and the Boston Red Sox, a piece of gate from Fenway, genuine Fenway Ballfield dirt, rate photographs of Ted Williams and Fenway, autographs, baseball cars and even Ted William's North Park boyhood home!
To make baseball fans feel at home, free hot dogs, peanuts, soda, and popcorn will be served on opening night, Friday, April 20, and on Saturday afternoon, April 21.
As always, 100% of the net profit from art and gift shop items will go to support autism research. Autism now affects nearly 1 in 88 children born today; and unfortunately, the epidemic shows no sign of retreating. The net profit from the evening will be donated to the Autism Research Institute, which not only funds research but also disseminates information about effective treatments for autism via their www.autism.com website, conferences and newsletters.
