Welcome to the Michigan Slammers 12U Website. Our organization is dedicated to developing young baseball players by stressing individual development while fostering a strong sense of teamwork at the AAA travel level.

The Slammers have completed 12U league play in the NWSL (Northwest Suburban League).  The Slammers' regular season league record was 14-1-1.  This enabled the Slammers to capture the 12U NWSL Championship. 

The Slammers have continued competition throughout the summer in various 12U tournaments.  Their accomplishments include:  

12U 2009 Canton Memorial Day Classic NIT   - Tournament Champions

12U 2009 South Farmington Blues Invitational - Tournament Champions

12U 2009 Michigan Bulls Tournament - 2nd Place 

12U NWSL League - American League Division Champions

12U NWSL League - Overall 12U Champions 

  The Slammers wrapped up their 2009 season with a National competition at Cooperstown Dreams Park (week 7, July 18-23rd).  This event featured 104 teams from across the country (Hawaii to Florida).  The Slammers' performed well ending pool play 3-3 with a 47th seed.  The Slammers' Cooperstown experience ended in a 10 inning bout (4 extra innings) in a fantastic playoff battle.  It was the longest battle in the tournament!  The Slammers' did a great job representing our community, baseball team, and their families.   GO Slammers !!!
