WELCOME to the 10U Michigan Mustangs Travel Baseball Team website. We are made up of players from Washtenaw County and surrounding areas and play in the Kensington Valley League and will be attending a number of tournaments in the 2009 season.

2009 Season:

 The coaching staff would like to say thank you to all the parents for making the sacrifices you made this season to make this a very memorable one.  This season was a HUGE success, and it would not have been possible without the efforts of you all.  The boys played hard and improved with each game.  Playing .500 ball in a very competitive league schedule and winning 2 tournament Championships shows their dedication to the game.  What a great season!  Congratulations and GO MUSTANGS!!!

Findlay, OH Tournament Results:

The Mustangs finished 1-2 in Findlay.  The boys played hard, but came up short against 2 good teams. The facilities were second to none, and we all had a great time.

Riverview Tournament Results:

 The 10U Michigan Mustangs are the 2009 Riverview Baseball Invitational Champions!!  After beating Belleville 13-1 in the semi-finals on Sunday, July 12th, the boys fell behind in the finals to the Hurricanes 3-1.  Good pitching kept the Mustangs in the game until the bottom of the 7th inning when the offense came alive and made a dramatic comeback, winning 4-3.  The team finished 5-0 for the tournament.  What a great game and weekend!!!!!!!

 Grand Haven Tournament Results:

The 10U Michigan Mustangs went 4-1 in the Grand Haven Classic June 20-21, including winning in come-from-behind fashion in the finals (6-4) to take the Championship!!  The boys played error-free baseball through the first 3 games and beat an excellent Grand Rapids North team twice to win the title.

 Saline Tournament Results:

The boys made it to the semi final game in the Saline Tournament May 29-31.  The offense came alive late, but it wasn't enough, losing to the Motor City Bulldogs 9-7.   

Congratulations 10U Mustangs on a 3-1 showing at the Howell Tournament, May 8-10!!  Including an 11-10 comback win over Adrian on Sunday.  The boys played hard and we all had a great time.
