Angela Gillis and Sarah Patterson combined to pitch 7 strikeouts.  Angela Gillis led the Cruisers with 2 hits, Ellen Amodei and Ashley Ellis had RBI singles, and Tara Buchanan doubled to lead the Cruisers win against the 2007 ASA 18U Gold Nationals 33rd Place Team.

Maria Gillis had an RBI triple to bring in the Cruisers lone run by Megan Olson.

Ashley Ellis and Angela Gillis led the Cruisers with 3 hits each.  Gillis and Tara Buchanan had RBI doubles.

Sarah Patterson pitched 9 strikeouts for the Cruisers.  Ellen Amodei had an RBI double to bring in Alli Catanzarite and Ashley Gates.  Ashley Ellis had the game winning RBI as the Cruisers beat the 2007 18U ASA Gold Nationals 3rd Place Team.

Angela Gillis and Sara Patterson combined to pitch a 2-hit shutout.  Ashley Gates had a game-winning RBI double to bring in Alex Dunfee.  Ashley Ellis tripled for the Cruisers.

Cruisers battled the reigning 2007 ASA 18U Gold National Champs evenly for 4 innings before giving up 3 late inning runs.  Tara Buchanan hit a 2 run home run for the Cruisers, with other key hits by Angela Gillis and Sam McCarty. Cruisers record 15-6-2, and they next travel to Central Michigan Chippewa Indoor Invitational.

Cruisers OVER Gold Coast Hurricanes Gold - Cotrone, 2-1
Sarah Patterson (Okemos HS) pitched 9 strikeouts.  Megan Olson (Hobart HS) and Tara Buchanan (LaPorte HS) had 2 hits and 1 RBI each for the Cruisers to lead the Cruisers over the host team, Hurricanes, who are the 2007 18U ASA Gold 3rd place finishers at 2007 ASA Junior Olympic Gold Nationals. 
Cruisers OVER Florida Caloosa Lightning, 5-1
Maria Gillis (Adams HS) and Sarah Patterson (Okemos HS) combined to pitch a 1-hitter.  Sarah Patterson tripled; Angela Gillis (Adams HS), Tara Buchanan (LaPorte HS) and Ashley Gates (Adams HS) each had doubles; and Buchanan, Alex Dunfee (Penn HS), Sam McCarty (Marian HS), Gates and Patterson each had 1 RBI to lead the Cruisers. 
Cruisers tie Pennsylvania East Norriton Heartbreakers, 5-5 
Angela Gillis (Adams HS), Ashley Ellis (Noblesville HS) and Alex Dunfee (Penn HS) led Cruisers with 2 hits each.  Tara Buchanan (LaPorte HS) hit a 2-run homer and had 3 RBI's for the Cruisers. 
Cruisers OVER Canada Mississauga Tigers, 1-0
Angela Gillis (Adams HS) and Sarah Patterson (Okemos HS) combined to pitch a 2-hitter in the shutout.  Slappers Ashley Ellis (Noblesville HS) and Megan Olson (Hobart HS) led the Cruisers with 2 hits each; Tara Buchanan's (LaPorte HS) game-winning sacrifice fly scored Olson for the Cruisers win. Cruisers record now improves to 12-2-2.  Cruisers next play November 2-4 at OC Batbusters Surf City Invitational in Huntington Beach, CA, and will play several Gold teams including the 2007 Gold National Champs, Worth Firecrackers

Angela Gillis and Sarah Patterson combined to pitch the shutout.  Alex Dunfee led the Cruisers with 3 hits.  Alli Catanzarite and Megan Olson had 2 hits, Tara Buchanan hit a 3-run homer, Maria Gillis had 2 RBI's, Cricket Fisher tripled, for the Cruisers.

Sara Patterson pitched the shutout.  Tara Buchanan scored the winning run for the Cruisers.

Angela Gillis led the Cruisers with 2 hits.  Sam McCarty knocked in Maria Gillis for the winning run.  Winning pitcher Sarah Patterson pitched 9 strike-outs for the Cruisers.

Maria Gillis had 3 hits including 2 doubles.  Alex Dunfee had 2 hits for the Cruisers.

Congratulations, Girls! Already Qualified at the first qualifier you attended!!!!

Cruisers played with part of their team unable to attend due to basketball and injuries, even had to add a stand-out 12U player Christina Gillis (who scored the winning run in the semi-finals), and Cruisers qualified!

Angela Gillis pitched a perfect game with 6 strike-outs. Cassie Boese had 3 hits and scored the winning run, Alexa Jack with the winning RBI.

Winning pitcher Morgan Hackman. Cricket Fisher singled, scoring Maria Gillis with the winning run.
