Practice Locations
Detailed practice information with times and location, with regular updating, are on Practice/Schedule page, which is available only to coaches, players and their families. This page also includes relevant news and scheduling news visible only to coaches, players and families. Locations of some practices are as follows: Boehm Softball Field: LaSalle Softball Fields: LaSalle Academy, address 2701 Elwood, South Bend, IN 46628. This field is on the west side of South Bend, and is very close to the bypass which wraps around South Bend. The bypass, also called 31, loops from the north side of South Bend, then around the west side and down to the south side, and then heads toward Elkhart county. It is also one of the exits off the 80-90 Toll Road and off I 94. Some of you coming from further north in Michigan might be coming off I 94 or even the 80-90 toll road, and if so, there is an exit off the bypass for both of these, for I 94 take exit 30, for 80-90 take exit 72. Some of you might be coming from the Niles area or from M-60, you take the exit to the airport/Lincoln Way West, also called 20, and head east into South Bend. You then go about 3 miles, turn left (north) on Kaley which is about a couple blocks after a McDonald's that you will have seen on your left. You go about a block or two, and Kaley ends at Elwood. You will then see LaSalle field to the north on Elwood. If you are coming from Elkhart county or west of South Bend, you are either coming along the north side on the toll road, and you will take exit 72; or if you are coming along the south side, you will likely already be coming right on the bypass into South Bend. Niles Vella Park: Vella Park is on Lake st in Niles, it is directly east of the Lake st & 17th st intersection. If you come straight north on 933/m-51 to oak st. ( stoplight facing Rite Aid) take a right and go to 2nd light and go left (17th st). Take until you come to end then go right (Lake St) park is on left. Belleville Softball Complex: Fisher's Indoor Batting: Reynold's Field: 52200 Evergreen Road, Granger. It is just near the corner of the Mishawaka Toll Road Exit/Capital-331 and State Road 23. It is the first street east of Capital-331 off State Road 23, head south, a very short street. It is located on the property behind the house. Do not use Mapquest, they have it erroneously showing the entrance off 331 rather than 23, and on the west side of 331 rather than east. ND Ivy Field: Team Location Our team is based in South Bend, Indiana, although we have players from other surrounding states. Tournament Locations Tournament locations are listed on the "Tournaments" page at left, and is updated regularly. Details regarding the tournaments for the players and their families are located on the "Practice/Schedule Info" page, which should be read regularly and is visible only to the team coaches, players, and their families.
