potter MIC POTTER - CAMP DIRECTOR & HEAD WOMEN'S GOLF COACH

1994 National Golf Coaches Hall of Fame inductee, Mic Potter, is enjoying his fourth year as the women's head coach for the Crimson Tide, currently ranked fifth in the nation,  after 23 years coaching the Furman University women's golf team.  In 2006, the 26-year member of the PGA of America guided Alabama to its first NCAA Championship berth since 1987, and repeated the feat in 2007 and 2008.  While at Furman, he led the team to 15 NCAA Championship berths, seven top-10 national finishes, including an NCAA runner-up finish in 1987.  He also took Furman to an NCAA Regional every year since the format was put into place in 1993.

Potter was named the Southeastern Conference Co-Coach of the Year in 2007.  This honor brings his overall conference coach of the year total to 10, having been named Southern Conference Coach of the Year nine times.  He had led his teams to 39 tournament titles.  The Furman Paladins won 10 Southern Conference Championships since the tournament's inception in 1994.  He has coached 10 LPGA professionals and 19 NGCA All-Americans over the course of his career.  This is the fourth year for Coach Potter to offer his high-quality camps at The University of Alabama.  He has a wealth of camp experience, having run the Mic Potter Golf Schools at Furman University for 10 years.

Susan SUSAN ROSENSTIEL - ASSISTANT WOMEN'S GOLF COACH

Rosenstiel, a former collegiate golfer at Tennessee and Florida, was hired as the assistant coach for the Crimson Tide's women's team in December of 2003.  She worked as an assistant golf professional and golf instructor for several years prior to joining the staff at Alabama.  During her collegiate playing career, she earned Academic All-American and Academic All-SEC accolades.

The additional instructional staff will be comprised of college golf coaches and PGA professionals.  College golfers will serve as camp counselors.
