 CAMP DETAILS

JUNIOR RESIDENT CAMP 

Dates:  Saturday, June 20 - Wednesday, June 24

Eligibility:  Coed Ages 8-17

Cost:  Resident - $995
           Commuter - $810

This overnight program offers young men and women an opportunity for expert golf instruction while staying on the beautiful Alabama campus. Students will participate in a daily routine of golf skill stations including full swing, chipping, pitching, bunker play and putting. Campers receive on-course instruction in course management, strategy, and the rules of golf. Seminars will be conducted on mental training and golf fitness. Guest speakers will include an expert on club fitting and equipment and an Alabama admissions counselor. Some students will receive a written assessment of their progress and all will get a DVD with computer swing analysis to take home at the end of the session.



FULL DAY & MINI-DAY CAMPS

Dates:  Monday, June 22 - Thursday, June 25

Eligibility:  Full Day Camp - Coed Ages 8-16

                   Mini-Day Camp - Coed Ages 5-8 

Cost:  Full Day - $310
           Mini-Day - $190

Junior Day Camps are designed to meet the needs of children from the beginner to the experienced player. Students will participate in groups with players of similar age and ability. Instruction will focus on improving the student's swing, short game, and course management skills. The Full Day Camp will run Monday, June 22 to Thursday, June 25, 2008 from 9 am to 4 pm. This session is designed for the young golfer (ages 8 -16) who desires a full day of instruction without an overnight camp experience. Each session will conclude with a free swim from 3 pm to 4 pm.

The Mini-Camp will meet on the same dates from 9 am to 12 pm. This session is designed with younger students (ages 5 - 8) in mind as an introduction to the game of golf. Age appropriate games and contests will be the focus of this session. Day campers are responsible for bringing lunch in a waterproof container. Drinks and snacks are provided.


**All camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by age and number of participants).**
