The Metropolitan Wolverines Season Opener is a Success!

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, The Metropolitan Wolverine's made their home field début against the Ft. Washington Stallions. The weather was gorgeous, the cheerleaders inspiring, the fans were rowdy, and the Metropolitan Cafe (concession stand) was in full swing. Each of our teams came ready to compete. Although the results were mixed every Metropolitan Wolverine team played hard, had fun, and learned allot. The final scores for the Sept. 19th games against the Ft. Washington Stallions were:
- 6 & Under - Metropolitan Wolverines 0/ Ft. Washington Stallions 20
- 8 & Under - Metropolitan Wolverines 0/ Ft. Washington Stallions 7
- 10 & Under - Metropolitan Wolverines 6/ Ft. Washington Stallions - 18
- 12 & Under - Metropolitan Wolverines 38/ Ft. Washington Stallions - 0
- 14 &Under - Metropolitan Wolverines 12 / Ft. Washington Stallions - 6
The Metropolitan Wolverines would like to thank their family members and fans. As always your support is critical to the organizations success. Once the league releases Saturday, September 26, 2009 game information the calendar page will be updated.
Be sure to purchase and wear your Metropolitan Wolverines Gear; bring noise makers, and plenty of family members.

Remember: Practice began on Monday, July 20, 2009 and is scheduled for every Monday(8u & 14u only), Wednesday, and Friday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm until further notice.
