The Albany Metro Mallers will meet Lowell Nor'easter at Cawley Stadium in Lowell MA on Saturday November 7th - 7pm kick off in the Harvest Bowl. Directions follow:
Cawley Stadium is at 450 Douglas Road Lowell, MA 01852
From Albany, take the Mass Pike (Rt90) East to Interstate 495 North. Follow I495 North to Exit 38. At the bottom of the ramp take a right and follow the road approximately half a mile. You will see USA Petroleum Gas Station on your right. Take an immediate right after the gas station and follow the road just a few hundred yards. You will see the stadium on your left
ALL MALLERS WILL MEET AT McCARTY AVE STATE PARKING LOT, ACROSS FROM HOFFMAN PARK ON SATURDAY AT 1:30PM. WE WILL BE CAR POOLING TO THIS GAME AS IT IS ONLY A COUPLE OF HOURS AWAY. MLFN Announces 2009 All-Americans
The Albany Metro Mallers are proud to announce your 2009 Minor League Football News All-Americans. In 2009, 15 members of the vaunted ‘Blue and Gold’ were recognized. 11 Mallers are multiple time winners of the award.
1st Team: QB - Scott Lawson, WR - Culture Branch, CB - Carson Johnson, SS – David Downer
2nd Team: C - Andres Morris, WR - CJ Tarver, DE - David Jenkins, LB – Shane Sportman, LB – Alex Brace

World Sports Scouting, the nation’s ONLY certified Clearinghouse for European Football League teams, will be hosting a regional combine in Elmsford, NY on Saturday November 14th. Test Events include: 40yd dash, 3 cone drill, 5-10-5, Broad Jump, Vertical Jump, and Bench Press. Results are provided to the 800+ teams of the European Federation of American Football (EFAF) who will contact potential players to fill 1000+ open roster spots.

Congratulations to Albany Metro Mallers quarterback Scott Lawson. He has broken the all-time minor league record for most touchdown passes in a career. The record-breaking TD throw was an 80-yard connection between Lawson and WR Deon Champen at 11:58 of the third quarter against Troy on October 4, 2008. Number 400 occured on July 18th, 2009 against Monroe County to WR Culture Branch. Keep a watch as this historic number continues to climb.
Matthew Posniewski Fund
Lt. Matt Posniewski was severely injured in August of 2007. He is the brother of former Mallers player and head coach Luke Posniewski.

I am doing fine let the guys know I wish I could be there playing ball with them now. I am definitely playing next year, no questions asked, no if ands or buts about it. I am back in the gym & on a diet I lost 20 lbs. now, I am 255 lbs, and i am going to get down to 235 lbs. within the next couple of months. I benched 275lbs., for 2 REPS this week; I have been lifting 5 days a week. So let the guys know if I can do it in a Combat Zone after working a 12 hours shift , they better be too. So let your starting TE know that he will be my back up next year and let Cam know he will not have to long snap anymore either.
I only need this stuff because we are on a very small base that has no store.
