Spring 2012 Season Registration

 

Registration for the 2012 Spring Baseball season is open from January 1 and continue until February 29 (registrations for all divisions other than T-Ball or umpires received after January 31 will be charged a $10 late fee).

T-Ball pre-K $45.  For kids entering Kindergarten in September, 2012
Single A Kindergarten $85.  For kids currently in Kindergarten
Double A 1st, 2nd grade    $85.  For kids currently in 1st or 2nd grade
Triple A 3rd, 4th grade $95. Parents can also choose to have their 5th graders play in this league if they are not ready for the Majors division
Majors 5th, 6th grade $95. 7th graders (as of 4/30/12 that have not played two years in Majors prior to 2012) are also eligible.

Senior Baseball

13-16 year olds

MJB is prepared to assist any of those who may need financial assistance. Please do not allow family finances to keep a child from participating.

Umpire Training sessions

Again this season we will be holding umpire training sessions for all individuals who have signed up to be umpires. Professional umpire Dan Merzel will once more run the training classes, offering videos to help the training along with incisive talks about rules and procedures regarding the game. Dan has been promoted to the Long Season this year which starts on or about March 15. Dan offers a wealth of information about being an umpire, of which I know everyone who attends will benefit.

Classes will be held on Tuesday, March 6 and Thursday, March 8 from 7pm until 9pm at Pinz Bowling Center.  This is a free course and is mandatory for all new umpires to the Mendon Junior Baseball League. All returning umpires are more than welcome and encouraged to attend the classes where something can always be learned, and you can share some of your tails from the previous year with the other umpires.
