Why Do We Sell Candy Bars?
Registration fees only cover about 50% of our budget. Candy Sales and Sponsorships account for the other 50%. Unfortunately this year sponsorships are down over 50% compared to last year making it even more important that we sell candy to meet our expenses.
Our fields cover 35 acres and we must maintain the grounds and buildings. We do not have a parks department to provide mowers, etc. Some Little Leagues use public parks and do not have to worry about the equipment expenses we incur. In the last 2 years we have had to purchase a new mower and upgrade our irrigation system. There are many more projects that need done.
Please help keep down registration costs by selling one or more boxes of candy. If you have sold your box already, your team parent can get you more candy. We can choose not to sell candy, but then we would have to increase registration by about $30 per child.
