2013 Medford Mens Softball League Schedule
NOTES:
1. The Game Times have been changed by the City of Medford to 7:45 PM and 9:00 PM to accommodate the Medford Girl's Softball League who play to 7:30 PM. The change will give our teams 15-minutes to warmup.
2. Games will be played Monday through Thursday. No Friday night games this year.

Join us in welcoming our new ASA Softball Deputy Commissioner Buddy Brooks. Buddy will be assigning umpires to the Medford Mens Softball League for the 2012 season.
The "TEAM FEE" for 2012 remains at $950.00 per team. A deposit of $600 is required along with a tentative team roster.
We have adjusted the B-League to reflect the forfeting out of the On The Hill Tavern-Elliott and U.S. Fuel teams leaving 3-teams in the B-League for the remainder of the regular season while rotating C-teams into the open slot. All 3-teams will make the playoffs in the B-League while 8-teams will make the playoffs in the very competetive C-League.

Final Standings Softball Tie Breaker Rules:
1. If 2-teams are tied for a playoff spot, the tie breakers are:
A. Head to head competition. Team that fared best will place higher.
B. Run differential in games against each other. Team with higher differential runs scored will place higher.
C. If 2-teams are still tied after head to head competition and run differential, each team's record against the other playoff eligible teams is used to break the tie.
D. Run differential against other playoff eligible teams is next followed by the final tie breaker being a flip of a coin.
2. If 3+ teams are tied for a playoff spot, the tie breakers are:
A. Head to head competition. The best of the 3+teams will be placed highest. The remaining teams follow the same format until the number of teams is down to 2-teams at which time the 2-team tie breaker comes into play.
B. If 3+ teams remain tied, record vs remaining playoff teams will be the tie breaker to bring the teams tied to 2-teams.

RECAP OF 2011 - The 2011 Championship Playoffs are finally completed. On Monday September 26th, the latest the Medford Mens Softball League has every played, On the Hill Tavern-Elliott broke a tied game in the 7th inning to sweep On the Hill Tavern-Buldini 2-games to none to capture the 2011 B-League Playoff Championship. On a night the Red Sox and Bruins were playing a un-season like 75F, a huge crowd was on hand to watch the finals. Congratulations to On the Hill Tavern-Elliott.
In the C-League Finals, 5th Place Raso's Grille defeated the 2nd Place Monty Burns Ringers 2-games to 1-game to capture the 2011 C-League Playoff Championship. Raso's Grille had to win three playoff series. Congratulations to Raso's Grille of Medford.
All regular season and playoff games are under the lights at Tufts Park in South Medford with gametimes at 7:30PM and 8:45 PM.
