Divisional Overview

Fellowship 501 (8-2) earned itself some breathing room in the Coed Division at the two-thirds gate, but getting there wasn't easy.  501 failed to plate anyone through the first 5 innings in their contest with NLC, resulting in a 6-0 deficit....but then they turned it on, getting 7 in the 7th to pull out the 9-6 win.  The loss gave NLC a split for the week after having taken out's R.R. 15-3 on Monday night.  The 501 bunch followed up their nailbiter against NLC by pulling out more late heroics against Merica.  After once again trailing early, 501 peaked late by getting 3 in the 7th to pull out the 12-10 win.  Merica plated 10 more runs in their next game against TBA, but it wasn't enough to overcome the latter's 16 runs through 3 innings, falling 16-10.  TBA kept pouring it on in Thursday's nightcap, getting 13 in just 4 innings while taking out the Shred-It Sting Grays 13-2.  With 5 games remaining to play for most it's still a division up for grabs, with 4 teams within 1.5 games of each other chasing a two-game deficit to the leader.

(Correction)'s R.R. got a two-win week after outscoring the Shred-It Sting Grays by one run in the 7th (and the game) to win 16-15.  The Sting Grays did manage a split, taking out CDI Contractors 11-6.  CDI took out their frustrations two nights later, putting up 20 on Tommy Team Towing.  It wasn't the only loss on the night for the Triple T, as Munnerlyn Law Firm unloaded a 21-5 score on them.  Maumelle Eye Care saw their first loss, a 23-19 barnburner at the hands of Bad Intentions, who are surging of late.  They are all still chasing Bank of Oklahoma.  The lone unbeaten dropped the Blue Gills under the .500 mark with a 17-2 decision.  After passing the halfway mark of the regular season, several teams find themselves on the bubble of the Men's Division split line before we head to the tourneys.
