Summer Novice
The Summer Novice teams are for beginning players. These teams are coach pitched and only play teams from Maumee. Players play in this division. Teams are based on grade level and open to girls in 1st thru 3rd grades.
Summer Fastpitch - 10U
The summer fastpitch teams are open to girls age 7 thru 14 and living within the Maumee School District. These teams are player pitched and compete in the SGS Summer league against teams from suburban Toledo and Northwest Ohio. The season runs from late May thru mid-July with scheduled games on weekdays. There is also a league tournament. Half of a team's league games will be "home" games at Rolf Park while "away" games are played at the opposing team's field. Teams are based on age with divisions in 10U (10 and under), 12U, and 14U. NOTE: Participation on summer teams is based on the player's age as of Dec.31st of the year previous to the season (i.e.; 2009 season = 12/31/08). It is not based on grade level. There is a separate fee charged by Maumee Girls Softball for summer fastpitch.

Spring Fastpitch - 4th/5th Grade
The spring 4th/5th grade fastpitch teams are open to girls in the 4th or 5th grade. Players must live within the Maumee school district. These teams compete in the FAST spring league which runs from April thru mid-May. "Double-header" games are scheduled on Sunday afternoons with a league tournament held at the end of season. The Spring Middle School fastpitch "JV" division is open to girls in 6th thru 8th grades and living within the Maumee school district. Teams play in the FAST spring league, which runs from April thru mid-May with single games scheduled on Friday nights and "double-headers" on Sunday afternoons. A league tournament is held at the end of the season.
