5/19/2012 - Dixie Speedway, Woodstock, GA - LLM
5/27/2012 - Rome Speedway - "4th place finish" - Matt finished 4th in the limited late model feature at Rome Speedway. Matt started 11th in the heat race and finished 6th. This put Dooley starting 11th in the feature at Rome where he drove his way to a respectable 4th place finish out of a total of 23 cars.
5/26/2012 - Dixie Speedway - "11th place finish" - Not a lucky night - flat tire on lap 4 of feature. Matt started in the back of the heat race and finished 5th. Matt started 10th in the feature race and had moved up to 8th place when he unfortunately had a flat right rear tire on lap 4. After coming into the pits and putting on another tire, Matt came back and finished 11th in the feature out of a total of 19 cars.
5/19/2012 - Dixie Speedway - "1st place finish" - Matt won the limited late model race at Dixie Speedway in his #18 Rocket Chasis. Matt started 5th in his heat race and finished 1st. Dooley started outside pole in the feature and drove his way to a first place finish out of a total of 14 cars. This was Matt's first win of 2012 and his first win in the limited late model division.
5/5/2012 - Talladega Short Track - "DNS" - Due to some mechanical issues, the Hester Racing/Lavon Sparks team decided not race the #11 GRT on Saturday. Again, Matt would like to thank Tommy Hester, Lavon Sparks, and the entire Hester Racing team for giving him the opportunity to race the #11 GRT on Friday night.
5/4/2012 - Talladega Short Track - "20th place finish" - Matt raced limited late model (sportsman) class at Talladega in the #11 Hester Racing/Lavon Sparks GRT. Matt's draw put him starting in the back of the 3rd heat race. He managed to finish in the 5th position which started Matt 20th (out of 27 cars) in the feature race. Dooley drove the #11 GRT up to the 11th spot in the feature but came off the track with mechanical problems on lap 28. Matt was listed as finishing 20th.
4/28/2012 - Talladega Short Track - "9th place finish" - Matt finished 9th out of a total of 22 cars at Talladega. Matt started 7th in the heat race and finished 4th. Dooley started 11th in the feature and piloted the #11 Tommy Hester GRT limited late model to a 9th place finish. Matt would like to thank Tommy Hester and Lavon Sparks for giving him the opportunity to drive their car this weekend at Talladega. Also, thanks to the Hester Racing crew for all of their help.
4/7/2012 - Green Valley Speedway- Sportsman $10,000 to win race - Matt's weekend started out good with a 3rd place finish in qualifying and a 2nd place finish in his heat race out of a total of 43 Sportsman cars at the show. Matt started 6th place in the Sportsman feature race and had moved into 5th place when he had an engine problem which unfortunately ended his race early.
3/31/2012 - New Senoia Raceway - Spring Fling 40 - "3rd place finish" - Matt raced in the Limited Late Model or Topless Division and finished 3rd out of 20 total cars after qualifying 7th and starting 7th in the feature race.
3/4/2012 - Green Valley Speedway - 15th Annual Bama Bash - "8th place finish". Matt raced in the Limited Late Model or Sportsman Division and finished an outstanding 8th place in the feature. Matt started 20th in the feature out of a total of 40 cars.
2/10/2012 - Screven Motor Speedway - Winter Freeze - "13th place finish" - Matt raced in the Limited Late Model or Sportsman Division and finished 13th in the feature. Matt started 24th out of a total of 28 cars and raced his Rocket up to a respectable 13th place finish.
1/28/2012 - Boyd's Speedway - Cabin Fever 40 - Matt raced his Limted Late Model car in the Super Late Model Division. Matt was one out of making the feature transfer spot in the B-Main out of a total of 49 cars.
