Mass Fury

Welcome to Mass Fury 18U Softball. Our team is comprised of varsity level players from Southeastern Mass including Dighton Rehoboth, Apponequet Regional, and New Bedford High Schools. Many of our players have traveled the college showcase circuit and played at various tournaments across the country including the Nationals in Sterling Virginia, Rising Stars in Ft Lauderdale, Doylestown PA, and the Colorado Independence Day Tournament.

Our Players

Corrie Avila #16 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently plays third base and is one of the founding members of the current team. Her previous travel teams included Berkley Fusion, Dighton Lightning, Rehoboth Rage, and Mass Hysteria 16U where she was chosen to play on the 
US vs Canada All Star Team in the 2007 Montreal Fastpitch Challenge. Corrie has been accepted to and will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute. 
Aimee Avila #99 is our youngest player and is currently a freshman at Dighton Rehoboth High School. She plays second base and outfield and has previously played for Dighton Dragons, Mass Hysteria and Dighton Storm where she traveled to Sterling Virginia and played in the PONY Nationals. 
Jenn Lowrey #13  is a three year varsity starting pitcher for Apponequet.  She played on the Mass Warriors U14 team for two years and for the past two years has played on the Bay State Cardinals 18U Showcase Team.  She has played in invitational only college showcase teams while playing with the Cardinals that include the Colorado Fireworks Tournament in Denver, the Rising Stars Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale as well as showcase tournaments in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Maryland. She was voted to the All-Scholastic Team for the Fall River Herald for 2007 as well as the Boston Globe Player of the week for May 2006 & 2007. She was the MVP All-Star for the Grand Slam Tournament in May 2007.  She is a four year honor student at Apponequet. Jenn will continue to play softball at Assumption College in the Fall where she plans to major in Pre-Law. 
Christy Ulak #10 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently plays short stop. Christy will continue to play softball at Framingham State College. 
Kyla Jordan #12 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently plays First base and right field. Kyla will be attending Framingham State College. 
Courtney Silva #2 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently plays second base and right field. 
Melissa Wilbur #21 is a graduate from Apponequet Regional High School. She currently plays left field. 
Kyla Puccini #17 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently is one of our starting pitchers and also plays first base and outfield 
Tristyn Desrosiers #33 our catcher is a four year Varsity Senior at New Bedford High School. Tristyn played travel ball for South Shore Shockers in2003 and Rhode Island Thunder in 2006-2008. She was named Standard Times South Coast Super Team Catcher 2007 for 2008. She is currently the 2008 Captain for NBHS Varsity Team and has led her team in home runs and RBI’s for the 2007 season as well as back to back winning RBI in 2007 State Tournament. Tristyn has also played in the Bay State Games 2006 Voted Best Athletic Attitude @ UCONN Huskies Camp.
Amanda Salois #11 is a graduate from Dighton Rehoboth High School. She currently plays left field
