Philosophy

The Directors of the Mass Elite Youth Basketball Camp have run very successful basketball camps at the youth and high school level for many years.  One of the trademarks of the successful participants has been the tremendous individual improvement of the players.  This emphasis on individual improvement is one of the guiding philosophies of the Mass Elite High School Basketball Camp and the Directors will make sure each campers experience is a positive one.  The Directors provide campers with elite level of coaching playing against elite competition and allows each player to develop a sense of pride and individual accomplishment.  We will try to make the game fun and enjoyable while stressing that basketball is a game of fundamentals.  Fundamentals are the key to success.  We encourage any level of play including beginners to join.  We will try to dictate the level of instruction to the individual needs of the student.  It’s never too early or late to learn! Ultimately, this camp is intended for anyone in 9th through 12th grade that has the intention of trying to improve his individual basketball skills.

College Exposure

One of the goals of Mass Elite High School Camp is to expose the player and their ability to college coaches for recruiting purposes.  We have designed the camp so that we can effectively teach the fundamentals and stations so that the college coaches can properly evaluate players for recruiting purposes. We strongly suggest all players bring a copy of their transcript and any college boards test scores they have taken.

Colleges AttendingThe camp has been setup so that most (if not) all of the Division 2 and Division 3 colleges in New England and the Northest will be in attendance.  Also, there will be numerous schools from outside of the northeast area.  In addition, we will have many of New England Prep School coaches in attendance.
