Mission Statement: The Maryland Lady Comets Program is a spiritually based girls youth basketball program, that teaches the fundamentals and disciplines of basketball. We stress the importance of academics and are a life skills teaching, family oriented and fun program that stands by PROVERBS 22:6. "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Saturday, April 12 2008 Maryland District AAU Jr. Division schedule is now posted in the Handout Section. MLC 95 is the #4 seed team in the state of Maryland. Lets Go Lady Comets!!! Saturday, April 12 2008 BlueChip Basketball Challange in Richmond, Virginia - April 17th-20th is now posted in the Handout Section. MLC 92 & MLC 93 are participating in this College Showcase Event. There will be over 300 College Coaches in attendants. Wednesday, March 26 MLC 92 (15 & under) is hosting there "Tip Off Tournament" April 12-13, 2008 at Towson Catholic. Maryland Lady Comets "Tip Off Tournament" (15u & 16u) Saturday, April 12th & Sunday, April 13th, 2008. At Towson Catholic High School located at 114 Ware Avenue, Towson, Maryland 21204. This event will be a Round Robin Tournament format. Each team will play 3 games (2 Saturday & 1 Sunday). Cost is $275.00 per team. This tournament will have excellent competition. All games are stop clock with 16 minute halves. There is no shot clock. High School & AAU Officials. 3 timeouts per half (2 full & 1 thirty second). Teams will shoot 1 and 1 after the 7th foul and 2 shots after the tenth foul. All participants must have valid AAU insurance cards. MLC 94 (13u) are having there Tryouts Sunday, February 24th, 2008 at Milford Mill High School located at 3800 Washington Avenue - Baltimore, Maryland 21244. For Girls born July 1st, 1993 or later. Anyone participating in tryouts must pay $14.00 (2007-08 AAU Insurance Card) non-refundable tryout fee, unless already purchased. Monday, February 11 Two MLC 92 Ballers are selected to IAAM (Private School) conference all star teams. Congratulations!!! Brianna Hutchen (St.Francis Academy) - A Conference All Star selections & Natalie Brown (Garrison Forest) - C Conference All Star selection. Saturday, December 8 MLC 92 Baller Selected as this weeks Maryland's Girls High School Basketball "Player of the Week" Congratulations #12 Alexis Hairston (Garrison Forest) for being the first MLC Baller to be selected as High School Player of the Week.
