Academy Session Information Join the FSU Soccer Staff for our 2010 Academies. The academy goal is to increase and enhance individual player’s soccer skills in a fun and competitive environment. Certified athletic trainers will be present at all times to care for players. FSU soccer camps are open to Boy’s and Girl’s. The camps will be under the direction of the 2002 WUSA Coach of the Year and 2006 Soccer America Coach of the Year Mark Krikorian; a man who has guided the Florida State Soccer program to unprecedented heights in his first four seasons at the helm. Coach Krikorian’s wealth of knowledge is reflected in the talent he has coached, talent that ranges from collegiate standouts like Mami Yamaguchi, India Trotter, and Amanda DaCosta, to international stars like Kelly Smith of England, Heather Mitts of the USA, and Marinette Pichon of France.
Winter Day Academy (Boys and Girls 5-18)
The Winter Camp at FSU is an accelerated 2-day academy geared toward technical growth and refinement. Players will be divided into age and skill appropriate groups, allowing for immediate immersion into challenging and interactive drills. It is the goal of the Winter Camp that very player walk away with more confidence, increased soccer knowledge, and most importantly a heightened passion for the “beautiful game.”
Summer Day Camp (Boys and Girls 5-18 years)
The mission of the week long day camp program is player development through excellent coaching and age specific curriculum. The core focus of the week will revolve around the development and enhancement of fundamental soccer skills in an environment that emphasizes enjoyment, confidence, and good sportsmanship. Groups will be formed based on age and ability to ensure a beneficial and positive experience for each and every camper.
Camp sessions will be directed and coached by the FSU coaching staff on a rotational basis so that each group will have access to each coach. All camp activities are held at the FSU Soccer Stadium/ Complex.

Residential Camp (Boys and Girls 11-18 years)
The Mark Krikorian Residential Soccer Camp is entering its fifth year at FSU and again looks to host some of the nation’s top talent during the five day academy. The mission of the camp is simple; provide every player with an unforgettable soccer experience that takes them to a new playing level.
The combination of elite college and club coaches with current collegiate players from FSU and abroad provides every camper the opportunity to be exposed to some of the best coaching in the country.
The Residential Camp is a four day long, intensive soccer academy geared toward competitive players that are serious about improving their skills and aspire to play at the next level. The primary focus will be on technical application, as technique is the foundation of all success. Additionally, campers will be introduced to the tactical side of the game and be afforded a first hand glimpse into “the beautiful game” that is FSU Soccer.
It is our goal that every player leave the camp with a feeling of accomplishment, a better understanding of the game, and an intensified passion for soccer. We look forward to not only working with you this summer but also to providing you with the ultimate camp experience!
Team Residential Camp
This residential camp session is devoted to the development of teams looking to get to the next level
Additionally, players will gain a better tactical understanding of the roles and responsibilities within the structure of the team. Training session topics will be determined by match analysis so that each team will receive training that is uniquely matched to its needs. Goalkeepers will receive daily specialized training from the FSU goalkeeping coach.
Additional topics to be covered will include; MCL/ACL injury prevention, nutrition for the elite athlete, and guidance in the college recruiting process.
Coaches are encouraged to accompany their team free of charge. A nightly coaches meeting will be held where ideas will be presented and exchanged with Mark Krikorian and his FSU staff. To be eligible, a minimum of 14 players from the team must register for the session. Additionally, all applications and deposits should be sent in together as a packet and must include a designated team representative abd his/her contact information. Each Team will be required to have a team manager accompany the team for the duration of the camp.
