Welcome to the Mark Krikorian Soccer Academy!

2010 marks the fifth year of our premier summer soccer camps for girls and boys. Our mission is simple: provide every player with an unforgettable soccer experience that takes them to a new level. We have a magnificent coaching staff combined with top collegiate players from Florida State to provide every camper an opportunity to be exposed to some of the best coaching in the country.

The camps will be under the direction of the 2002 WUSA
Coach of the Year and 2006 Soccer America Coach of the
Year Mark Krikorian; a man who has guided the Florida State
Soccer program to unprecedented heights in his first four seasons at the helm. Coach Krikorian’s wealth of knowledge
is reflected in the talent he has coached, talent that ranges
from collegiate standouts like Mami Yamaguchi, India Trotter,
Becky Edwards, and Amanda DaCosta, to international stars like Kelly
Smith of England, Heather Mitts of the USA, and Marinette
Pichon of France.

How do we get there? How do we take players to the next level? The primary focus will be on technical application. We believe technique is the foundation of all success and will dedicate specific training in specific areas such as:

• Passing
• Flighted balls
• Driven balls
• Bent balls
• Shooting techniques
• Receiving with different surfaces
• Dribbling
• Taking players on 1v1
• Team tactics

It is our goal that every player leave our camp with a feeling of accomplishment, a better understanding of the game, and an intensified passion for soccer. We look forward to not only working with you this summer but also to providing you with the ultimate camp experience!
