The Parent Agreement is to be signed at registration and is in addition to the Player Contract which is signed by the participant. Please click here to take you to the Parent Agreement.

Geographical Eligibility
The Manteca Chargers, Delta Rebels and the Lathrop Titans are all members of the Delta Youth Football League.
Beginning in 2004 Boundaries will be set for residents of Manteca in most cases you may be eligible too play for either the Chargers or the Rebels. Residents of Lathrop MUST play for the Lathrop Titans or request a waiver from the Franchise Presidents. There is no guarantees of waiver approvals.
Physical Exams
Every participant must have a physician signed release (dated no more than 60 days) prior to practice. Traditionally the Chargers have sponsored a day for physicals. If you are unable to attend this physical a release form is available in the "Handouts" section of this site.
Practice
Practices will be held Mon - thru Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 (five nights a week) until after the first game. The first 10 days of practice are non contact and intense conditioning occurs. After Labor Day practices are generally held Tue,Wed & Thurs (the head coach has discretion to alter the days) and a one hour "skull" session can be scheduled. The starting practice times are moved earlier as the daylight hours lessen. Practices may be moved from normal practice areas to accommodate the use of lights.
Practice is not optional and it can make the player/cheerleader ineligible if regular practices are missed.
Because the football squads can only carry 45 players, the head coach may have to "release" players from the squad. The first 2 weeks of practice are normally used as this tryout period.
Equipment cannot be issued until the player has completed 20 hours of conditioning.
The Manteca Chargers have been a member Franchise of the Delta Youth Football League since 1993. Delta Youth Football has now started an informational web page for all it's Franchise.
