  Welcome

Registration
If you have not signed up yet, you still have time. Every Sunday from 3-5pm until July 20th at Round Table Pizza (Kohls Shopping Center) Also, on Saturday, June 20th from 11:30am until 3pm at Calvary Church on Lathrop Road. Physicals will also be held that day as well. Physicals are $10.

Registration is $90 paid in full or $100 if you intend to make payments.

Practice Dates/Times
Our practices will start July 20, 2009. These practices will be Monday through Friday 6:00 to 8:00 pm. We practice at Sierra High School. After our first game on August 29th we will go to three nights a week, the days are determined by the coach/coordinator. When daylight savings takes place we change the practice times to 5:30 - 7:30pm and we usually move to the back of the stadium where there are lights.

What's Needed For New Participants
If you are a veteran of the Manteca Chargers no additional paperwork other than the Contract is needed. New participants need a copy of their birth certificates and a copy of their most recent report card.

Parent Agreement
The Parent Agreement is to be signed at registration and is in addition to the Player Contract which is signed by the participant. Please click here to take you to the Parent Agreement.

Geographical Eligibility
The Manteca Chargers, Delta Rebels and the Lathrop Titans are all members of the Delta Youth Football League.

In 2004 the boundaries were set for residents of Manteca in most cases you may be eligible too play for either the Chargers or the Rebels. Residents of Lathrop MUST play for the Lathrop Titans or request a waiver from the Franchise Presidents. There is no guarantees of waiver approvals.

Physical Exams
Every participant must have a physician signed release (dated no more than 60 days) prior to practice. Traditionally the Chargers have sponsored a day for physicals. If you are unable to attend this physical a release form is available in the "Handouts" section of this site.

It's going to be another exciting year.

WELCOME

...to the home of Manteca Chargers Youth Football and Cheer.

We believe in our youth. We believe in their ability to conquer their fears, grow, change, develop, and to be great. We are committed to helping our youth in developing integrity, discipline, morals, and values.

Our organization is dedicated to making sure that every child who is part of our team has the opportunity to participate in their selected field. Whether in football or cheer, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to grow and develop their skills. We stand strong in our commitment to have all youth participate no matter what their level of experience or training. Your child will learn not only the skills of football or cheer, but will also learn very important values that they can carry with them in school, family and life. Things like respect, self worth, discipline, morals, trust, leadership, and the importance of education and family values. Your children will learn to be competitive but will also learn it is okay not to win all the time.

Costs

Registration is $90 paid in full or $100 if you intend to make payments.

The only extra cost for football players is a practice jersey that runs around $15. Also football socks and cleats are important, ask your coach which color socks they would prefer. During homecoming we ask that each parent donate a bag of candy. The end of the year we ask for a parent donation for the end of the season party for your team. We provide the game day jersey's the practice pants, and pads in a bag. This all needs to be returned at the end of the season.

The extra cost for cheerleaders is their cheer package which is approximately $160.00, this includes your warm up pants and jacket, shoes, socks, hair ribbon, under shirt, and spanx and a bag to keep it all in; you keep this. We do provide the cheer uniform and pom's which are returned at the end of the year. We also participate in "Jams", this is where the kids get to perform for other squads. This is approximately $50. AND we ask at homecoming and the beginning of the season for parents to donate a bag of candy. The beginning of the season we use the candy to make "gift bags" for our games.

OF COURSE, we have snacks for the end of the game, this schedule will be given out to each parent at the beginning of the season.

Player mascots will receive a complete uniform and a non-certified helmet after all Players receive their equipment first. Registration forms are required however the fee is much smaller and covers the cost of the jersey only.
