The Juniors division is a competitive league for players ages 13 and 14 by April 30th of the Spring season who are looking to continue their participation in Little League as they step up to the "big diamond" - the 90 foot bases and 60'6" pitchers mound of a regulation baseball field. All 13 year olds will play in Juniors as well as 14 year olds not drafted onto a Seniors team. Double elimination playoff round follows the regular season.

Major League
The Majors division is a competitive league for players ages 11 and 12 by April 30th of the Spring season. MYBI's goal is to give an opportunity for all players to participate in Majors for at least one year during their Little League careers. As such, all 12 year olds who TRYOUT for Majors the previous September and REGISTER on time will be placed on a Majors roster. Remaining rosters spots are filled with 11 year olds who are drafted onto Majors rosters based on a combination of September tryouts, coaches evaluations from the previous season, and stated preferences during registration. Double elimination playoff round held at the conclusion of the regular season.

Games Scheduled for Weeknights 5:30pm April to June

AAA-Ball
AAA division represents a competitive step up from AA and a continued development opportunity for players ages 10, 11, and 12 by April 30th of the Spring season. For the 2008 season, AAA is the highest level available for 10 year old players and the appropriate division for all 11's and 12's who did not tryout for Majors or were not drafted into Majors due to limited roster spaces. 9 players are fielded on defense each inning with a full roster batting order used on offense. Double elimination playoff round at the conclusion of the regular season.

Games Scheduled for Sundays and/or Weeknights 5:30pm April to June
Practices Scheduled for Saturdays and Pre-Season (End of March to Early April)Weeknights 5:30pm

AA-Ball
AA-Ball is a developmental league for players ages 9 and 10 by April 30th of the Spring season. For 9 year olds, this is a step up to "big boy" baseball with players pitching, balls and strikes called by umpires, with walks, strikeouts, and limited stealing allowed as part of the game. For 10 year olds, this is an opportunity to continue to develop baseball skills and build confidence as some of the stronger players on their teams. Competition is introduced as games are scored, team standings are tracked, and there is a single elimination playoff round at the end of the regular season.

Games Scheduled for Sundays and/or Weeknights 5:30pm April to June
Practices Scheduled for Saturdays and Pre-Season (End of March to Early April)Weeknights 5:30pm

A-Ball
A-Ball is another developmental league for players that are 8 years old by April 30th of the Spring season. The empahsis is on skill development, with coaches pitching the first half of the season and players beginning to pitch during the second half of the season. Strikes are counted for the first time and 10 players are fielded on defense.

Rookie
The Rookie division is a developmental league for players who are 7 years old by April 30th of the Spring season. Players are introduced to "coach pitch" although balls and strikes are not tracked and hitters are given every opportunity to put the ball in play. 10 players on defense each inning, with a 3 outs or 10 batters maximum to retire the side.

Games Scheduled for Sundays and/or Weeknights 5:30pm April to June
Practices Scheduled for Saturdays and Pre-Season (End of March to Early April)Weeknights 5:30pm

T-Ball
Introductory league for Players ages 5 or 6 as of April 30th of the Spring Season. Teams typically have 1 combination Practice/Game per week, typically played on Saturdays. All players bat and play the field each inning, typically 3 innings per game. Focus on having fun and introducing concepts of the game to our youngest players.

Parents...MYBI knows two years of T-Ball may not challenge all players equally as they develop skills individually. Unfortunately, we CANNOT honor requests to "play up" due to implications with the league's insurance and our Little League charter which sets birthday cutoff dates for each division on a national level.
