The North London Soccer Club is a top ranked competitive club in London Ontario, with the club's 6 GOLD STARS as Canadian National Champs!!...past club teams crowned National Champs!!...92 Flash(2006) & 90 Supernova(2006) girls, 91 Nova (2005), 90 Supernova(2004), 89 Dynamite(2003), the 85 Shooting Stars(2000)...congrats to all our past National Champs!!, a long term/ultimate goal of the Man U & Chelsea boys teams...

What a weekend at the Nike Cup...

After finding a local Tims...the boys went on to take the Cup 'double/double'...as the Chelsea boys were crowned u9 Select Champs!!, while the Man U boys, not to be out done, were crowned u10 Champs as Man U boys beat FC Nova, Michigan in the u10 Black final, after an exciting 2-2 OT game, with the championship on the line, Man U then edged FC Nova 9-8 in PK...amazing feat, as the boys hit 9 out of 10 PK's under pressure...
 
Both teams went a perfect 4-0 on the run to the finals...coaches: Steve, Simon, Rick & Cos were extremely proud of all the boys, who represented Canada (eh) & the club with class in their gusty, team effort performance at Nike...
 
The teams looked great in their new NL kit along with the jackets (which we needed due to the stop/start rain)...the Hotel was amazing, as well as shopping at the Dublin Malls...
 
Having both teams at Nike, provided a bonding opportunity not only for each team but for the Ohio 'squad' as each team watched/supported, got to know the other (younger Chelsea boys, chatting it up with the older Man U boys), during the tournament...
 
Well done to all the boys...Thanks to all parents, it was a long trip back late Sun night but a satisfying drive given the the successful weekend...
