The Lake Erie Waves would like to welcome Rachel Krause to the team. Rachel Has been received all-conference and all county awards for softball. She is another weapon in our arsenal of fast left bunters and slappers.
Rachel is a Senior at Valley Forge High School where she maintains straight A's. She is the oldest of 4 with 2 brothers and a younger sister.
Rachel has already been accepted to play softball for Baldwin-Wallace College

HO HO HO
On December 7 we had our 3rd annual Christmas Party at Skateworld. This was alot of fun and gave the team a chance to bond early. Santa made his 3rd annual appearance also. Though for some reason he never shows up when the coach is in the room.

WAVES WIN COASTER CLASSIC 2002
The 14U Lake Erie Waves won the Coaster Clasic Tournament.

Waves Win 2nd at Firecracker Classic in Stow July 6 & 7
The Waves were 3-2 at the Firecracker Classic in Stow Ohio on July 6 & 7, 2002. With victories over The Diamond Girls, The Marion Rebels and The Ohio Naturals, before losing to the Tournament Champion Diamond Dolls.

The Waves won all three games in the round robin format tournament to take home champioship trophies.

Pumpkin Rolls
Congratulations, Our team raised over $280 selling pumpkin rolls. We will also sell 50/50 raffle tickets and other fund raisers. We have established a team goal of going to Nationals this year. Our fundraisers will help us raise the cash need to go to nationals.

The 18U Lake Erie Waves got together for a Pizza party, bowling and sleepover. They had a great time. In the morning the coaches Matt and Mark came over and made waffles for everyone until they were stuffed.
We also me the following week at Dave and Busters to welcome our newest player to the team Rachel Krause.
