MountainWest Indoor Football League: Welcome

The Mountain West Indoor Football League (MWIFL) is a new Semi-pro Indoor Football League, that will Kickoff its"Premiere" season in the Winter of 2010!  This is a new improved league that will be Fan friendly and made for players and family members to enjoy Indoor Football at its best!  The MWIFL is place for the Ex Pro, College, High School player to keep playing and work on there skills. or a place for players to Keep playing for the "Love of the Game"!

"To fulfill the unmet needs of football fans and players in markets currently underserved by Indoor Semi professional football by providing a high quality traditional football league comprised of world class Semi professional football players. The MWIFL will serve the communities with pride, dedication and passion, and uphold a leadership role in the development of football in the Mountain Region. The MWIFL will provide every fan with an affordable, accessible, exciting and entertaining game experience." 

 When will MWIFL be played?

The MWIFL will Kickoff December 4, 2010, during traditional football season, to establish the league as a viable entity and will offer real, 8-on-8, Indoor Semi professional football in  quality venues. The MWIFL will play its regular season games on Saturday evenings in the Winter, with the first regular season game kicking off in November 2010 and the Championship Game scheduled for February 2011.

Why the MWIFL will work?

The MWIFL's approach, rules and style of play will look and feel substantially similar to the AFL One and will cater to those players and fans currently underserved by Indoor Semi professional football. The MWIFL will assemble the best talent on the field, on the sidelines and in the league and team offices to ensure a credible, high-quality product that is accessible and affordable for fans and players!
