Crusader Mike Attanasio named M-W’s Nov. 8th athlete of the week

Central Valley - Mike Attanasio, a member of the M-W Varsity Football Team, has been named the school’s athlete of the week for Nov. 8.

“Besides being a good student and a great kid, Mike is an excellent football player,” Coach Pat D’Aliso said. “He is one of only two two-way starters on the team and a key reason for our 26-3 win over NFA in the Section 9 championship game. He played outstandingly on both sides of the ball. He made several key blocks on offense as well as playing all over the field on defense, helping to hold NFA’s high powered offense to 3 points. For his efforts in the Section 9 Championship game, he was awarded the defensive player of the game.”
