MVBoysSoccerBoosters: Welcome

MVHS Boys Soccer Boosters was created to support the Boys high school soccer program with a number of activities including  JV/Varsity fundraising, team dinners, team clothing sales, and away game sandwiches/snacks.  See contact info page(Board) to get email and phone numbers of specific Board Members, to answer your questions. Please explore the site for helpful information. We have monthly Board meetings, please consider joining or offer to assist in our activities. We are only as effective as the number and breadth of volunteers make it.

Please contact Coach Mark Boucher for summer soccer information.   At this point in time, it will be Monday and Thursday nights(after school ends) for games and a Tuesday night practice/training night.

Summer Soccer Tips for success:

1.  Weather can change in an instant, bring something warm and something waterproof.

2.  BRING YOUR OWN water since there may not be a team jug of water.   You may want something you particularly like so bring it on your own, don't expect it from anyone else.

3.  White athletic tape can be helpful, duct tape just doesn't look so good!

4.  Shinguards are required and mouthguards are  a very good idea for many safety reasons.

 Coach Mark is also doing some training session later in the afternoon till school ends--contact him on details.

We had many successes on the field and off the field in 2012.  One of which was the tremendous participation rate in our fundraiser.   Thank you.  We promise to spend the money wisely and for the greatest benefit.

We will be holding elections soon for 2013 Officers, and would like as many parents(Dads too) to attend our monthly meetings to let us know of new ideas and even join the Board since we all will eventually stop having children playing soccer and wish to merely be a spectator in the crowd.  

Boosters need new ideas and fresh faces, we need you!  Email one of the officers for more information.   The cost is nothing, but the payback is priceless!
