Camp Details
Marquette Individual Day Camps:
Session 1: June 29th – July 2nd
Session 2: August 3rd- 6th
Grades 1-8 (Fall 2009)
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Lunch provided)
Location: Al McGuire Center
Our Individual Day Camp is a commuter camp for girls entering 1st through 8th grades. Whether she is a beginner or a more experienced player, this camp will provide fundamental skill work in a fun and instructional atmosphere. The Individual Day Camp also includes position work combined with various games and competitions. Lunch will be provided to all campers.
Cost: $300 - $50 non-refundable deposit
Elite Camp (High School Only)
June 27th – June 28th
Grades 9-12 (Fall 2009)
Location: Al McGuire Center
Saturday: Registration 11:00 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.
Part 1: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Part 2: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
(Dinner Provided)
Sunday: Part 3: 9 a.m. -12 noon
Part 4: 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
(Breakfast and Lunch Provided)
Our Elite Camp is an overnight or commuter camp designed specifically for girls entering 9th through 12th grade. Though varsity experience is not required to participate in this camp there are times when this camp will increase the intensity level of play. This camp will focus on individual skill development and position work that campers will be able to utilize during competitive drills. The Marquette coaching staff and players will work with each camper through demonstration, instruction, and personal interaction.
Cost:
$140 Commuter
$200 Overnight
$35 Per Segment- (Only if you would like to come to certian segments of the camp)
$50 Non-Refundable Deposit
Additional Information:
WOW!!! Each camper receives a free MU practice jersey, free admission to a MU home game for the 2009-2010 season, and day campers will receive a MU basketball - Campers should come to camp dressed in basketball attire, ready to participate - Gatorade, snacks, t-shirts and MU gear will be available for purchase at the camp store - There will be a full time Certified Athletic Trainer on site - Camp drop off and pick up will be at the Al McGuire Center (770 N. 12th Street) - For more information, please call the Women's Basketball Office at 414-288-3241 or email Angela Lewis at angela.r.lewis@mu.edu REMAINING BALANCE DUE: - If you will be registering and are only paying the deposit, your remaining balance due will be AUTOMATICALLY charged to your credit card 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. It is not necessary for you to send in a check directly to the camp for your balance due.
