Spirit & Xcel Girls Scrimmage before Freedom Game
Spirit and Xcel team members joined together to participate in the Nike sponsored scrimmage prior to the Freedom v NJ Wildcats Game. After the scrimmage, the girls formed a tunnel for the Freedom and Wildcat players and then watched an exciting game together.

Spirit Xcel wins Division Championship
Spirit Xcel tied the Timberwolves to become the MSI Classic Division 1 Champions. On the first truly hot day of the season, and after a delay while the teams awaited a referee, the two teams battled to a 1 -1 tie. Spirit Xcel, with a lead going into the finals, won the Division. Congratulations, girls!

MSC Xcel Potomac Tournament Semi-Finalists
Memorial Day weekend 2007 MSC Xcel played Potomac Tournament and came away with wins against Beach FC (2-1) and Freedom FC/PA (5-0)and a tie 0-0 against Severna Park but lost 1-0 in the semi-final game to Vista Blackwatch from VA. Congrats XCEL!

MSI Spirit Xcel advances to Classic Position Rounds in First Place
In an exciting game, MSI Spirit Xcel advanced to the Division 1 finals in first place. After allowing their first goal of the Spring season early in the first half, MSI Spirit Xcel quickly rallied and ended the game with a 3-1 win.

Spirit Xcel volunteered as ball girls for an exciting men's University of Maryland vs. University of Virginia soccer match Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Maryland SoccerPlex Stadium, as top men's and women's college powerhouses teamed up to raise money in the fight against cancer.
