The Minneapolis Southside Athletic Association (MSAA) is dedicated to the promotion of south Minneapolis community athletics. Our mission to "Shape Young Lives Through Sports" is based on providing a learning environment for area youth that is both fun, nurturing, and competitive. Minneapolis Southside stresses good sportsmanship, teamwork, and fundamentals. Winning is important, but not the primary focus, nor pursued at the expense of integrity. Our focus is on both skill and character development through positive mentoring. We believe that our philosophy and approach will instill values, attitudes, and skills that transcend sports, and which will help our players become good citizens and achieve their life goals on and off the athletic field.
When this happens, our youth, families, and community all win.
