Modesto Patriots Youth Football & Cheer to have Fund Raiser with Local Doctor

            Modesto – September 10, 2009 – The Modesto Patriots Youth Football & Cheer Organization will join forces with local doctor, Dr. Dan Anderson of Anderson Family Chiropractic, for a unique fund raiser.

Fund Raiser Program:

            Dr. Anderson will donate a half-hour massage and a wellness evaluation at no charge.  The players and cheerleaders will be selling the certificates for $25 each.  This evaluation and massage is valued at $125.  100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Modesto Patriot organization.  The program came from The National Academy of Physicians, a group of doctors dedicated to helping the community through donating their time and talents to help raise funds for deserving causes, of which Dr. Dan Anderson is a member.

            Dr. Anderson said, “We are excited to work with the Modesto Patriots Youth Football and Cheer organization.  I anticipate this opportunity will help their program raise the needed funds, as well as our effort to provide the best quality care for the community, it’s our way of giving back.”

            Tami Gutierrez, Patriots Treasurer, commented, “We must raise funds each year to keep our program going and to give our athletes the opportunity to excel.  Without help from businesses like Anderson Family Chiropractic and local community members our program would fail.  The Modesto Patriots Youth Football & Cheer Organization is a non-profit group focused on developing the athletic and team building skills of children age 7-14 in our community.  All funds raised will be used to help offset operating costs and for the purchase of much needed football equipment.”

            Community members can also purchase the certificates directly from Anderson Family Chiropractic before October 31st by calling 578-5199.  100% of the proceeds will go to the Modesto Patriots Youth Football & Cheer Organization.
