2018 MAA Outdoor Adult and JOAD Championship - RESULTS in Downloads

The 2018 MAA Outdoor Championship was held on a beautiful August day! There were a wide range of MAA state records set. In the youth division records were set by Allison Schwartz (431 – Compound Cadet), Hayden Catron (553 – Compound Basic Bowman), Ethan Gutz (652 – Compound Cadet), Evan Baker (694 - Compound Junior), Adelaide Koziol (575 – Recurve Junior), and Tyler Wright (211 - Barebow Cadet). In the adult division records were set by Maxine Bots (590 - Compound Master 70+), James Bots (623 - Compound Master 70+), Faron Teague (510 – Compound Fingers 60+), Paul Penrod (694 – Compound Master 50+), Cole Duensing (689 – Compound Senior), Stewart McCollum (692 – Compound College), Dorinda Terriah (266 - Barebow Master 60+), Jacky Yam (516 Barebow Master 60+), and Janis Grellner (598 – Recurve Master 50+).

The ShowMe Cup (Set Match Elimination Round) saw some very close matches - the following were the winners of each division. Bowman Female Basic Compound - Hayden Catron, Cub Female Compound - Mckinsey West, Cadet Female Compound - Allison Schwartz, Bowman Male Compound - Emerson Gutz, Cub Male Compound - Kobe Sink, Cadet Male Compound - Ethan Gutz, Senior Male Compound - Evan Baker, Master 50+ Male Compound - Paul Penrod, Master 60+/70+ Male Compound - James Bots, Bowman Female Recurve - Sophia Sandbothe, Cadet Female Recurve - Lauren Haley, Junior Female Recurve - Adelaide Koziol, Cub Male Recurve - Ethan Cha, Cadet Male Recurve - Elijah Tweet, Senior Male - David Wolfe, Master Male Barebow - Jacky Yam.

MAA Archers of the Year are based on the combined placement of archers from both the indoor and outdoor state championships. 2018 Compound Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Cady Kokotovich, Jr Male – Evan Baker, Sr Female – Maxine Bots, Sr Male - Paul Penrod. 2018 Wilson Boys Memorial Award for top Recurve Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Adelaide Koziol, Jr Male – Elijah Tweet, Sr Female - Janis Grellner, Sr Male – Jim Noble. 2018 Barebow Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Kristin Taylor, Jr Male – Tyler Wright, Sr Female – Dorinda Terriah, Sr Male - Jacky Yam.

2018 MAA Indoor Adult and JOAD Championship - RESULTS in Downloads 

The 2018 MAA Indoor Championship was held at the MACC Activity Center in Moberly, Missouri. We had a large group of youth shooters and there were a lot of personal bests shot. The final results saw 13 new MAA state records! In the youth divisions records were set by Adelaide Koziol (Junior Recurve – 558 – an improvement of 70 points from her record set last!), Breahna Catron (Cub Barebow - 425), Tyler Wright (Cadet Barebow - 330), Kate Kottman (Cub Compound - 515), Hunter Boots (Cub Compound - 546), Cameron Zielinski (Bowman Basic Compound and Aston Smith (Bowman Compound - 576). In the college division records were set by Shelby Winslow (College Recurve – 535) and Stewart McCollum (College Compound - 575). In the adult divisions records were set by Maxine Bots (Master 70+ Compound - 538), Dorinda Terriah (Master 60+ Barebow - 280)Paul Penrod (Master 50+ Compound - 588), Janis Grellner (Senior Recurve - 548). The Top overall compound shooter award went to Paul Penrod (588/600), top overall recurve shooter award went to Adelaide Koziol (558/600), and the top overall barebow shooter award went to Quinn Talbott (447/600).
