The Missouri Archery Association (MAA) is the National Archery Association (NAA) / USA Archery state affiliate for the state of Missouri.

2018 MAA Outdoor Adult and JOAD Championship - August 18, Moberly, MO (Register online at USA Archery or mail in form found in Downloads)

Moberly YMCA (field behind building), 1000 Kwix Road Moberly, MO

Format: FITA Qualifying Round (72 arrows) + ShowMe Cup – Set System
Age is based on 12/31/2018, All archers shoot a 122cm target
- Senior & Junior (18-20) – Cmpd/Recurve - 70 Meters
- Masters 50+, 60+ & 70+, Cadet (15-17) – Cmpd/Recurve - 60 Meters
- Cub (13-14) – Compound/Recurve, Masters/Sr/Jr/Cadet - Barebow - 50 Meters
- Bowman (<=12) – Cmpd/Recurve, Cub/Bowman - Barebow - 30 Meters

Schedule:
Practice: 9:00 to 9:20 AM
Scoring: 9:30 AM
45 minute lunch break between Qualifying Round and ShowMe Cup Olympic Round

Awards:
State Championship Medals given to top 3 places in all divisions based on 72 arrow qualifying round (out-of-state guests eligible for awards, if a Missouri archer is displaced, then duplicate awards will be given)

ShowMe Cup Awards given for top finisher for all divisions with at least 2 archers

Top MAA Senior Male and Female and Junior Male and Female Archer awards (based on combined placement at indoor and outdoor MAA Championships, outdoor is tie breaker):
- Overall MAA Top Compound Award – Listed on Perpetual Trophy + Individual Plaque
- Overall MAA Top Recurve Award – Listed on Perpetual Trophy + Wilson Boys Memorial Medals
- Overall MAA Top Barebow Award – Listed on Perpetual Trophy + Individual Plaque
(Note: outdoor ranking for Junior awards across all JOAD ages is based on AA rating system)

Rules:
- All NAA / FITA / JOAD rules will be in effect (60# limit for compound bows).
- Either USA Archery (NAA) or NFAA membership is required to compete per USA Archery Safe Sport rules. Archers may also obtain a one (1) event USA Archery membership for $15 at www.usarchery.org or at the tournament.

2018 MAA Indoor Adult and JOAD Championship - RESULTS in Downloads 

The 2018 MAA Indoor Championship was held at the MACC Activity Center in Moberly, Missouri. We had a large group of youth shooters and there were a lot of personal bests shot. The final results saw 13 new MAA state records! In the youth divisions records were set by Adelaide Koziol (Junior Recurve – 558 – an improvement of 70 points from her record set last!), Breahna Catron (Cub Barebow - 425), Tyler Wright (Cadet Barebow - 330), Kate Kottman (Cub Compound - 515), Hunter Boots (Cub Compound - 546), Cameron Zielinski (Bowman Basic Compound and Aston Smith (Bowman Compound - 576). In the college division records were set by Shelby Winslow (College Recurve – 535) and Stewart McCollum (College Compound - 575). In the adult divisions records were set by Maxine Bots (Master 70+ Compound - 538), Dorinda Terriah (Master 60+ Barebow - 280)Paul Penrod (Master 50+ Compound - 588), Janis Grellner (Senior Recurve - 548). The Top overall compound shooter award went to Paul Penrod (588/600), top overall recurve shooter award went to Adelaide Koziol (558/600), and the top overall barebow shooter award went to Quinn Talbott (447/600).

 2017 MAA Indoor Adult and JOAD Championship - RESULTS in Downloads
The 2017 MAA Indoor Championship was held at the MACC Activity Center. A strong group of shooters attended and set 15 new MAA state records! In the youth divisions records were set by Adelaide Koziol (Junior Recurve - 488), Sydney Simmerman (Cadet Recurve - 548), Kristina Taylor (Cub Barebow - 319), Sophia Sandbothe (Bowman Barebow - 349), Elliot Guenther (Cadet Barebow - 321), Brooke Miller (Cadet Compound - 573), Courtney Ledbetter (Cub Compound - 423), Payton Miller (Bowman Compound - 512), Emmett Gutz (Cub Compound - 536) and Aston Smith (Bowman Compound - 566). In the college division a record was set by Stewart McCollum (College Compound - 543). In the adult divisions records were set by Maxine Bots (Master 70+ Compound - 439), Debi Reed (Master 50+ Compound - 557), Janis Grellner (Master 50+ Recurve - 535), Quinn Talbott (Master 60+ Barebow - 491). The Top overall compound shooter award went to Alex Leonard (581/600) and top overall recurve shooter award went to David Wolfe (572/600).

2017 MAA Outdoor Adult and JOAD Championship - RESULTS in Downloads
The 2017 MAA Outdoor Championship was held on a beautiful August day .. with just a bit of wind to make sure we knew we were outdoors!. There were several MAA state records set. In the youth division records were set by Evan Baker (700 - Compound Cadet), Cara Cha (497 – Compound Basic Cub), Ethan Cha (342 - Compound Basic Bowman), Sydney Simmerman (618 – Recurve Cadet), Tyler Wright (174 - Barebow Cadet) and Libby Criger (335 - Bowman Barebow). In the adult division records were set by Maxine Bots (604 - Compound Master 70+), Debi Reed (624 Compound Master 50+), James Bots (621 - Compound Master 70+), Jacky Yam (514 Barebow Master 60+), and Janis Grellner (605 Senior Recurve).
The ShowMe Cup (Set Match Elimination Round) saw some very close matches - the following were the winners of each division. Bowman Female Compound - McKinsey West; Cub Female Compound - Hallie Sellers; Cadet Female Compound - Lauren Haley; Senior Female Compound - Amy Francka; Master Female Compound - Debi Reed; Bowman Male Compound - Carter Peck; Cub Male Compound - Emmet Gutz; Cadet Male Compound - Evan Baker; Junior Male Compound - Matthew Keiser; Senior Male Compound - Paul Penrod; Master Male Compound - Austin Cameron; Cub Female Recurve - Kaitlyn Robinson; Cadet Female Recurve - Sydney Simmerman; Bowman Female Recurve - Sophia Sandbothe; Bowman Female Barebow - Libby Criger; Cadet Male Barebow - Tyler Wright; Master Male Barebow - Jacky Yam; Cub Male Recurve - Josh Raynor; Cadet Male Recurve - Elijah Tweet; Senior Male/Female Recurve - James Ball; Master Recurve - Terry Morrow.
MAA "Archers of the Year" awards that are based on the combined finish at both the 2017 Indoor and Outdoor Championships were awarded to: 2017 Compound Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Lauren Haley, Jr Male – Evan Baker, Sr Female –Amy Francka, Sr Male - Paul Penrod; 2017 Wilson Boys Memorial Award for top Recurve Archers of the Year: Jr Female – Sydney Simmerman, Jr Male – Elijah Tweet, Sr Female - Janis Grellner, Sr Male – Jim Noble.
