Lady Stars Softball 2006-2007
Last year was the most successful season in Muhlenberg North High School history. We won 29 games, won the District Title, and went to the finals of the Regions. Last year’s season broke many records and each of you should be extremely proud, BUT we must move on. We cannot live in yesterdays. Our team requires unity. We have to move as one unit, one force, with each person understanding and assisting the roles of her teammates. If the team doesn't do this, whatever the reason, it goes down in defeat. You win or lose as a team, as a family.
Keep your heads up girls! We will all get through this.
Ladies! Check the handouts section! There are some GREAT tips for pitching, fielding, and hitting! I even added pictures with the handouts. I know you girls are visual! Also, the practice schedule has changed.
Strive to be the best you can be...focus, watch, listen, and learn. Try never to be satisfied with 'good enough'...and above all, love what you do. Ladies, you are a direct reflection of me. When you lose, I am a loser. When you fight, I am a fighter. When you win, I am a winner. When you and I work together, we are a team and we WILL be unstoppable. You must believe in yourself as much as I believe in you.
A winner is someone who sets their goals, commits themselves to those goals and then pursues their goals with all the ability that God has given them. That requires someone who believes in herself, who will make self-sacrifices, work hard, and maintain the determination to perform at the best of their ability.
Check the page daily for things added. Make sure you pay attention to the Lady Stars' News. It will have updates and new things added daily! The Coaching Staff will try and maintain the site with schedules, practice changes, and etc…
