The MK pathfinders are the only American Football Club in Milton Keynes. With three teams, including; Junior Flag under 14s, Junior Kitted 14-16 years and, Youth Kitted 16-19 years. After a highly successful first season the organisation are planning to build on their success and develop the club into a Football Academy with the addition of a British Senior team 19 years and above.

The Club started two years ago with just 7 members. Since then the squad has grown to over 50 members, with 6 coaches. They train at Stantonbury Campus Playing Fields, every Sunday 1-4pm. The Pathfinders have the advantage of the entire coaching staff are all ex. Players.

Since their beginning the Pathfinders have come a long way. All the teams play in the British Youth American Football Association (BYAFA) league. The Junior team were outstanding in their first season, and came second in the National Championships, capping off along with winning the English festival of Football Championship and both the NFL and NFL Europe championship Trophies.
The Youth Team won the NFL Kick off trophy and won the runners up trophy for NFL Europe. They also took on the British Army Foundation College and won 37 to 0.
The newly formed Junior Flag team, (who play non contact), have played one friendly match with Crawley and are currently preparing for the 2006 flag season.

Pathfinders practice and recruit all year round. Regardless of your age, ability or experience everyone is invited to Sunday practice.

A crisp, cold morning greeted the players off the bus for the 2nd Tournament of the season at Sheffield. Pitch conditions were awful as players could hardly stand when going for their warm up jog! Pictures of the action can be found in the Albums section.
