1st District Champion - Beaverton Junior Softball!

Beaverton defeated Clare in 2 games (14-6 & 10-7) to become Michigan District 1's first champions.  More information will be posted soon on Beaverton's next steps.  WAY TO GO BEAVERTON JUNIOR SOFTBALL!

District Champion Junior Baseball- Midland Association!

Midland Association defeated Southwest (17-2) to become Michigan District 1 Junior Baseball Champions.  Next up for Midland Assoc. is a sectional with District # 8 champion- Traverse City West the weekend of July 18th.  First game is Friday, July 17th at McCrae Park in Alpena.  YEAH MIDLAND ASSOCIATION JUNIOR BASEBALL!  GO DISTRICT 1!

Southtown District Major Softball CHAMPS!

Southtown defeated Farwell (9-1) to become Michigan District 1 Major Softball  Champions.  Next up for Southtown is State Tournament at Croswell/Lexington (District #7) beginning the weekend of July 17th.  More information to follow soon.  YEAH SOUTHTOWN MAJOR SOFTBALL!  GO DISTRICT 1! 

9-10 Baseball District CHAMPS - Union Twp!

Union Twp defeated Clare (6-5) to become Michigan District 1 9-10 Baseball  Champions.  Next up for Union Twp is State Tournament at Cheboygan beginning July 23rd.  More information to follow soon.  YEAH UNION TWP 9-10 BASEBALL DISTRICT CHAMPS!  GO DISTRICT 1! 

State Tournament Update:

July 26: Union Township has gone undefeated in Pool play winning their third game 3-2 vs. St. Claire.  The next game is Monday at 4 PM.  Good Luck Boys!

July 25: Union Township cruising in 9-and-10-year-old state tournament.  The Union Township 9-and-10 year old Little League team won its second consecutive game Saturday at the state tournament in Cheboygan, cruising past Alpena by a 16-0 final in four innings.

Southtown wins opening game at state tourney 6-3 against Pinery Park from
district 9 (Grand rapids).

 Southtown wins again 7-2 against Tecumseh. Next game against Gladstone on Monday evening at 7 pm.  The game will likely be
broadcast on internet radio www.rrnsports.com

State Update: July 26

Union Township Major Baseball defeats Decatur 6-1.  They play Monday at 3 PM vs. Bay City Southwest.  Good Luck Boys!

State Update: July 25

No-hitter propels Union Township to opening win.  The Union Township 12-under Little League began state tournament play with a 1-0 victory in pool play over Taylor, bolstered by a Ty Rollin no-hitter. Union Township continues pool play Sunday at 4 p.m. versus Decatur.

Congratulations to Midland Northeast, District 1 Champions for 10-11 year olds.
