PRE SEASON GAME
5/26S.W. Michigan Punishers 27 Renegades 12 - With the Rain coming down the Punishers wasted no time with putting points on the board. They went up quick with two scores to make it a 14-0 lead before the Renegades got on the Board with a pass from #1 Chris Little to #80 Darrell Searcy. The Renegades also get another score from #2 Michael Youngblood to make it a 27-12 final.
6/9 Renegades 28 BELLEVILLE GIANTS 6 - The Renegades did what the was supposed to do against this Giants team, the Renegades with Rookie QB #6 Albert Chatman who was making his first start rushed for the first touchdown of the game. The Renegades also got two rushing touchdown from #2 Michael Youngblood. Starting QB #7 Dave LaFlure got to the game late and came right in firing as he hit #81 Murphy for a touchdown to make it 28-0 before the Giants got on the board.
6/16 Flint Fury 28 Renegades 8 - The Renegades was looking for their first win ever in Flint and will not get it this year as the Fury rolled over the Renegades 28-8. The Renegades was looking to set the tune as they drove the ball down field, with 4th & 3 inside the Fury 30 yard line the Renegades passed the ball to #81 Remy Murphy who drop it to kill the momentum of the Renegades who never recovered. The Fury went on to score 28 unanswered points before the Renegades got on the board with a 3 yard run by #26 Al McKinnie.
6/23 Cleveland Cobras 32 Renegades 0 - The Renegades are coming off a 28-8 loss in a non league game against the Flint Fury. The Renegades was looking to rebound against the Cobras but the Cobras were ready. Saturday’s showdown was thus far the biggest game in Cobra’s short history. The Renegades traveled shorthanded and they paid for it. The first quarter was a close one with the Cobras was up only 7-0. The Renegades was trying to come together with their substitute players to try to find the combination. Things continued to unravel in the second half as the Cobras did just about what ever they wanted to. With the win the Cobras are definitely a favorite to make it to the Championship game.
6/30 Renegades 26 Michigan Gators 4 - The Renegades will be faced with their biggest challenge of the season so far this Saturday when the Renegades rebounded from their disappointing loss to the Cleveland Cobras. After last weeks game against the Cobras the Renegades was looking to get back on track. The Renegades dominated the Gators from beginning to end as second year running back Michael Youngblood paced the offense with a Renegades’ record setting performance by rushing for over 200 yards and over 250 total yards and three touchdowns. The Renegades toyed with the Gators throughout the night. The Renegades defense came out firing in their trademark style of hard hitting, aggressive play with a bevy of explosive hits force turnovers and a number of sacks to keep the Gators offense under 100 total offenses numerous defensive players stepped up. With the win the Renegades took the leads in the North Division. 7/7
Renegades vs. Metro Detroit Saints – Forfiet Win
7/14 Renegades 52 LENAWEE COUNTY CRUSADERS 0 - Another solid performance as the Renegades pounds Crusaders 52-0, the Crusaders are coming off a 94-0 loss to the Cobras, so they had nothing to lose, but the Renegades defense was too much. The Renegades was lead by #52 Javon Fullilove who finished the game with 16 tackles 9 for loses 7 sacks 3 block punts and a safety they also added scores from #34 Cecil McKay and #94 Sean Bethune on fumble recoveries in the end zone and a interception from #22 Alford Bell on defense. The Renegades capitalized offensively all game from the great play from the Renegades’ defense. The Renegades got two scores #36 Ronny Yamil and #2 Youngblood also rushed for a touchdowns and #80 Darrell Searcy added one with a reception. #30 Jason Hamlett and Ronny Yamil each had two 2point conversions. The Renegades put together an impressive game with very few mistakes with an impressive victory in shutout fashion and have tremendous confidence heading into next week’s game against the Knights.
7/21 Renegades 22 Northwest Ohio Knights 2 - Renegades looks to keep their win streak going with three as they prepare to battle the Northwest Ohio Knights for the first time ever. The Renegades are coming off a 52-0 win over the Crusaders while the Knights are coming off a 42-0 loss to the Gators but the Renegades won’t overlook the Knights. The Renegades are 3-1 in league play while the Knights are 1-3 in league play. This is a game that the Renegades will not be taken lightly. Renegades scored on the game’s opening possession with running back #3 Michael Youngblood had a good day rushing as he rushed for over 100 yards for the 3rd game in a row, he also had two touchdowns in the game. The Renegades also got a touchdown from rookie #12 Brandon Wilson. For the Third straight week the Renegades defense has not giving up a score, while the Renegades continue to gave up a safety in two of three games. The Knights showed signs of if they wanted to score but the Renegades “D” was to much as they stopped the Knights inside the 5 yard line. The Renegades Albert Chatman completed four passes 9-11 passes for over 100 yards, he also rushed for 75 yards.
7/28 Michigan Renegades 22 MICHIGAN GATORS 0 - “The Rematch”Renegades clinch the GLFL division in fashion with a 22-0 win over the Michigan GatorsThis is the rematch with even more hype then before, the Renegades are on a three game winning streak. They also are coming in with their new offensive coordinator Daryl Henry who started of the season as the Renegades Offensive coordinator, D. Henry is one of the best offensive minds in the semi-pro. The last time these two teams met it was the return of the Renegades #52 Javon Fullilove and #11 Rontell Woodruff as the they set the tone on the defense. Youngblood rush for over 200 yards and had three total touchdowns. This will not be a cake-walk for the Renegades if they want to stay on pace with the league leaders. The Gators are coming off a 62-0 win over the Crusaders and the Renegades a coming off a 22-2 win over the Knights. The Renegades defense has not given up a point in three straight games since losing to the Cobras 32-0 This was supposed to be the game of the week in the GLFL, but we took care of business like we supposed to at home to secure the win. The game in the first half was very hype both teams came of looking to take the lead. After the half we made a lineup adjustment and then went to work. The special team also had a good day punting, the game was locked at 0-0 at the half on the assuming kick off #80 Searcy returned the ball to the Gators 30 yard line to set up the pass from #6 Chapman to #3 Tumpkin for the score. Later in the game #2 Youngblood score on a 60 yard run then the defense got on the board with a touchdown of a fumble in the end-zone. The Renegades defense which has not gave up a point in three games also was up to the test as they stopped the Gators several time in the red-zone. They also got a scores form #8 Morrow on a loose fumble in the end zone. “The players, coaching staff, organization and everybody involved with the Renegades deserve every bit of it, for the first time in seventeen seasons the Renegades have a chance to win a league championship”. After being in the Mid-States Championship game to lose 6-0 was a heart breaker and we were determine to get back to a championship.
8/4 MIAMI VALLEY WARRIORS 34 Renegades 20 - “Round 3’Warriors look to keep momentum going as they travel to Detroit. It’s all business as the Renegades are set to battle with the mighty Warriors the two teams that are expected to be in the Championship game will hook up for the first and only time this year. The way Renegades has manhandled the competition so far has won straight and is feeling very confident especially after their 22-0 victory over Michigan Gators last week to clinch the North Division, the Warriors 6-0 have established themselves as the team to beat in the GLFL. The Renegades are 1-0-1 all-time against the Warriors looks to knock off the only UNDEFEATED team left the GLFL. The Warriors are coming off a 48-6 win over the Knight while the Renegades which has won four in a row. The Renegades got on the board with a run by #2 Youngblood up the Warriors sideline to take a 6-0 lead (Fullilove 2 pt.) Then the QB #6 Chatman finds #3 Tumpkins to make it a 14-0, the Warriors got on the board to make it 14-6 midway through the 2nd quarter. The #6 Chatman finds #81 Murphy to make it a 20-6 lead in late in the 2nd quarter. Then a key fumble by Hamlet which the Warrior got inside the Renegades 5 yard line which with 2 second left in the quarter the Warriors got in to close the lead by 6 points. The second half the Renegades failed apart holding call, personal fouls, dropped passes, fumbles, miss tackles, sacks all killed the Renegades. The Warrior stayed with their game plan and added two more touchdowns to make it a 34-20 win over the Renegades. They are still the two front runners for the league championship game.
8/11 Renegades 26 Belleville Giants 6 - The Giants are playing for pride as they take on the division champs, after a 8-0 win over the Crusaders with was the team first in history. While the Renegades took a loss to the Warriors 34-20 they will be looking to take revenge on the Giants. The Renegades started the game off rusty as they punted on their first three drives. The Renegades got on the board with a 42 yard pass to #81 Murphy one of the two of the game from #6 Chatman to make it a 6-0. The Renegades also got rushing touchdowns from #2 Youngblood and #30 Hamlett. The Renegades will be off next week so they are looking to make a point for the rest of the league. The Renegades will play a non league game against the Soldiers and is looking to win a non league game for the first time this year.
8/25 MOTOR CITY SOLDIERS 6 Renegades 0 - “The Motown Battle”This is a game that was waiting to happen, as the Renegades look to take on some formal players and coaching staff. The Soldiers come into the game with a stunning 8-3 record in the USFL while the Renegades have a 6-2 overall record in the GLFL. The Renegades are looking for a tune-up game before heading into the playoffs against the Cleveland Cobras in two weeks. Starting the game without their starting QB the Renegades was forced to start #12 Brandon Wilson. The Renegades played this game short handed and looked like it. The Renegades got on the board first with a score by #11 Rontrall Woodruff on an interception return of 100 years but was called back due to Illegal push in the back call. Then right before the half #7 of the Soldiers found #8 Herb Brown on the fade to make it a 6-0 lead. The game was a defensive battle the hold game, but late in the fourth the Renegades got on the board with #7 touchdown run that was called back due to holding.
9/8 Renegades 14 vs. Cleveland Cobras 6 - (Playoffs)“Looking for revenge”The last time these two teams faced off the Cobras came out with the victory with a smashing 32-0 win over the Renegades who then have won six out its last seven. This was the game the Renegades wanted and they got it. The Cobras are coming off a loss to the Warriors and has lost two of the last three. Look for this to be a sure dog fight, the Renegades is high lighted by their 2nd year running back Michael Youngblood. The Renegades scored first on a pass from #7 Chatman to #81 Murphy to make it a 6-0 lead for the Renegades. Then the Cobras got on the board late in the second quarter of the game to make a 6-6 tie. Then the Renegades took the lead again with the to pairing up for another score to make it a 14-6 lead and the Renegades defense stopped the Cobras inside of the red-zone which they thought would have sealed the game, but the Renegades fumble with more then two mintues left in the game. But the defense stepped up again to get the offense the ball with 1:07 left on the clock and they took two knees to win the game.
Michigan Gators 8 Michigan Renegades 6 - “The final call” This will be an all Michigan Championship, as the Renegades take on the Gators. The Renegades have owned the Gators this season winning both games this year by a combined score of 50-4. The Gator’s with the huge upset with the win last week over the undefeated Warrior 26-19 as the Renegades beat the Cobras 14-6. The Renegades went into the game without their all-star running back Michael Youngblood who rushed for combined 400 yards both games. The Gators got on the board first with a safety which made it 2-0, and then they got on the board again with a pass to #80 over #21Littleton to make it a 8-0 lead. Then early in the fourth quarter the Renegades got on the board with a TD pass from #6 Chatman to #81 Murphy to make it a 6-8 score. The Renegades got into the Gators part of the field several more time but failed to score.

@Waterford Warthogs 8 Renegades 0 (L)
The Renegades open the season off with the Warthogs, who is coming off of a 24-14 win over the LSFL defending champion Michigan Steelers. "Rivals Clash" Renegades are confident leading up to their match-up against their rival. The Renegades got off to a good start with a force turnover on the opening play of the game. This was a very though defensives game, with the Renegades forcing six turnovers. The Renegades intercepted a pass by #33 Littlejohn and returned it to the 2 yard line of the Warthogs. The Renegades called a toss right and lost 7 yards, which made it 2nd & 9 then the Renegades called a running back off tackle with got them to the 4 yard line. Then the Renegades called a toss right again on 3rd & goal with the ball on the 4 yard line which got them on the board, but hold on a flag (holding) a lost of 10. With 42 second left in the game the Renegades gave up the big play where the Renegades allowed the Hogs to set up the score to make it a 6-0 lead. On the assuming kick return the Renegades with the lack of blocking where the Hogs were able to tackle the running inside the 20 yard line. With the Renegades in shotgun the snap of the ball went over the head of the QB and went out of bound.
Renegades 22 Southwest Michigan Punishers 20 (W)
The Renegades was looking to get back on track against the Punishers, and the Punishers were looking for their first win in franchises history. The Renegade started of with a run by #7 Laflur to make it a 6-0 game. The Renegades defense pickoff a pass to set up the pass to #80 Searcy to make it 14-0. Then the Punishers came back with three quick scores of their own to make it a 20-14 lead. Late in the fourth quarter Renegades scored on a pass to #80 Searcy to make it a 20-20 tie then the Renegades took the lead with the 2 point conversion to make it 22-20 final.
@ Renegades 22 Allen County Buckeyes 0 (W)
The Renegades totally dominate the Buckeyes from the beginning and the end of the game, where they got on the board with QB #7 Laflur on a QB sneak to make it 6-0 with a good 2 point conversion to make it a 8-0 lead, then Laflure hooked up with rookie WR #25 Duckworth on two touchdown catches to make it, one was a 28 yard catch but a miss 2 point conversion. Then they hooked up on another touchdown of 17 yards and a good 2 point conversion to make it a 22-0 final.
Columbus Cowboys 28 Renegades 0 (L)
As the week before where the Renegades totally dominated the game from beginning to end, you had the Cowboys can out running and passing. The cowboys just took over this game with touchdown passes to #88 & 84.
@ Renegades 12 Southern Ohio Patriots 8 (W)
After last week lost the Renegades with only 23 players the missing 9 starters, the Renegades was looking to get back on track. With a new starting QB and backfield on the first play from scrimmage the Renegades fumble the ball and looked doomed with their new backfield. The Patriots scored on their opening drive, with the Renegades trying to come together with their substitute players. The Renegades did'nt get it together till late third quarter of the game. With a deep pass to Darrell Searcy to set up the 7 yard run by Ronny Yamil. When the forth quarter came the Renegades pounded the ball by their running backs #22 Ronny Yamil & #30 Jason Hamlett.
Renegades 26 North-West Ohio Purple Raiders 14 (W)
After a tough win against the Patriots this was a game that the Renegades needed to stay in pace with the Cowboys who has a one game lead over the Renegades. The Renegades jump out quick on the Purple Raiders with a WR pass from #81 Dyeon McIntyre to #80 Darrell Searcy for a 6-0 lead. Then the Purple Raiders came down to make it a 6-6 tie with a diving catch to #7 Johnny Alridge. The Renegades got another scores from #10 Terrence Tumpkin to make it a 12-6 then made the 2-point conversion for a 14-6 lead at half. The Raiders got on the board again midway through the forth quarter to make it a 14-14 tie. Then on the assuming kickoff #80 Darrell Searcy returned the ball to the 50 yard line, then the Renegades pounded the ball by the running back combo of #22 Ronny Yamil & #30 Jason Hamlett and some very importing catches by #81 Dyeon McIntyre and #80 Darrell Searcy to set up #8 Willie Taylor on a QB sneak, the Renegades "D" turn the ball over again and a pass touchdown pass again to #80 Darrell Searcy to seal the game.
Renegades 18 Miami Valley Warriors 0 (W)
Riding on a two game winning streak the Renegades took total control of the game early with their running game from their two rookies back the renegades pounded the ball with only passing the ball 7 times. The Renegades got points from #22 Ronny Yamil & #30 Jason Hamlett. The Renegades defense stepped up and pitch a shutout, the Warriors offense was averaging 30 plus points per game. #52 Javon Fullilove picked off pass in returned it 67 yards for a score to make it 18-0. The Renegades improve their record to 4-1 league play and 5-2 overall. The Renegades notch another win, this time it?s against the Warriors last year runner-up in the LSFL. The Renegades will be playing this same Warriors team next week in Dayton for a rematch.
@ Renegades 6 Miami Valley Warriors 6 (T)
After last week shutout over the Warriors they were looking to show the Renegades that they were a better team. The Renegades which is usually shorthanded on the road, put up a good fight. This was a hard hitting game with both sides delivering some heavy hits. The Renegades was looking for the first time in history for the straight win.
Akron Jags 19 Renegades 0 (L)
Now this game was all talk from the beginning, as the Jagz came in *** talking. The Renegades was up against a team that had experience, size and speed of which they had den seen since they got into the USFA. This Jagz team had won 5 Championship in the previous years had something to prove.
@Columbus Cowboys 39 Renegades 0 (L)
This game was doom before it got started, the Renegades went to Columbus with 19 players only 4 starting defensive player. Then on the Offensive side they was missing their starting QB the Cowboys where looking to run the score up with the Renegades low numbers.
Renegades 16 Allen County Buckeyes 8 (W)
This was a totally deferent Buckeye team from early in the year when the Renegades beat them 22-0, the Buckeyes had been putting up some points for the last few weeks. The Renegades got on the board first then the Buckeyes came back with a score of their own. Then late in the 3rd the Renegades went up to make it a 16-8 game, but the Buckeyes didn’t quit as the marched down field inside the Renegades 10 yard line but time ran out on them.
@ Renegades 30 North-West Ohio Purple Raiders 8 (W)
This was a game that the Renegades had to have and they made sure they got it as the Renegades running backs that took control of this game and a mad pass rush attack. The Renegades jump on the Raiders early to a 22-0 lead before the Purple Raiders got on the board with a 36 yard run by #7 Johnny Alridge which made it a 22-8 game before the Renegades got another score from Ronnie Yamil to make it 30-0.
@Central Ohio Lions 21 Renegades 6 (L)
The Renegades know that they were in for a "Heavyweight Fight" Renegades realizes that there?s still unfinished business with them playing the undefeated COL. The Lions and Renegades exchange blows throughout the game with COL striking first to take a 7-0 lead in the second quarter, the Renegades marched up the field themselves with the running from the rookie duo of #3 Youngblood & #22 Yamil and catches from #80 Searcy & Tumpkins to set up the only score of the game with a pass from #1 Taylor to #80 Searcy to make the score 7-6 till late in the 3rd when the Lions got on the board again with a screen to the back for a 14-6 lead. Then they scored again in the 4th to make it a 21-6 ballgame.

Renegades 20 Michigan Steelers 6 (W) ( Non League Game)
Inner City rivalry where you have last year LSFL champions come in to Jack/Adam Butzel home of the Renegades. The Renegades can?t wait to take it to the Michigan Steelers, this was game of hype where you have two teams from the city battling for bragging right of the city. Last year the Steelers beat the Renegades 28-14 and the Renegades was not looking for a repeat from last year. The Renegades with a new QB #1 Brian Young threw two TD?s to #10 Tumpkins while the rookie duo had the running game going. Rookie FS #9 Rontrell Woodruff (EMU) in his first game as a Renegades picked off 2 passes and returned one for a touchdown.
Renegades 28 Indiana Mustangs 0 Mid-state Tournament 1st Rd.
The Renegades just totally dominated this game from begging to end with #3 Youngblood rushing for over 200 yards and 2 touchdowns and also caught a touchdown for a touch for a total of three for the game. Also #10 Tumpkins also had a touch down and some key catches throughout the game for over 100 yards receptions. The Renegades defense held the Mustangs to no first downs and cause 6 turnovers. The Renegades will advance to the next round against the Force of Illinois in Chicago.
Renegades 4 Force of Illinois 3 Mid-state Tournament semi-finals
This was a game in which the Renegades Defense came to play, they held the Force to only a field goal the entire game and had two safeties one off a sack by #75 K. Thomas and a block punt by #25 Clarence Chude to take a 4-3 lead late in the game. The Force still had time to score as they marched up the field inside the Renegades 5 yard line where you had the Renegades defense come up big with another block field goal to advance the Renegades to the next round. The Renegades offense was not playing well and the defense had to step it up. #1 Brian Young 7 of 32 and the Renegades played their RB #3 Youngblood.
Milwaukee Bulldogs 6 Renegades 0 Mid-states Championship Game
From the opening drive the Renegades tried to move the ball missing two starting linemen from the two game prior games the Renegades was not able to stop the front line rush of the Bulldogs. The Renegades Defense showed up again where they had six red zone stands which included three inside the five yard line. They also came up with some key sacks and two block field goals. The Renegades marched up the field several time with coming up short on the board. Late in the second quarter the Renegades attempting a punt, the snap was high going into the end zone in which a Bulldog player landed on it to make it a 6-0 game with the point after blocked. The second half was all about both defensive where it was hard hitting by both team. Late in the game with less than two minutes the Renegades block a punt that put them on the Bulldogs side of the field on third down forty-four seconds left the Renegades fumbled the ball and was recovered by the Bulldogs who let the clock run out to win the game. Mid-States Tournament Championship Game MVP of the Michigan Renegades was #3 Michael Youngblood and #4 Deon Waters.

May 21 Waterford Warthogs (MLFA) 22 Renegades 8
The Renegades lose their season opener to the Waterford Warthogs 22-8 the Renegades opened up scoring as QB #1 Chris Little (6-14-133 yards 1 INT) found WR #4 Deon Waters for a 40-yard TD pass (2 catches for 63 yards) in the 1st quarter and #5 Martinez Braye scores on the 2 point conversion making it 8-0. The Renegades went into the half with an 8-8 tie looking to make it a game. The Renegades forced the Hogs into six turnovers in the game. The Renegades look to be ready to score again to take the lead when Little threw an INT on the one yard line given the Warthogs the ball. The Renegades held them at the one yard line forcing them to punt. The Renegades jumped off sides and on the ensuing play the Warthogs scores on bad snap 94 yards fake punt. On the kickoff return #80 Darrell Searcy return the ball to the Warthogs 40 yard line giving the Renegades good field positions, but the offense just couldn?t get it going. Cecil McKay led the defense with 13 tackles and a force fumble.
May 28 Albion Chargers (MLFA) 14 Renegades 12
Renegades lose for the second time in a row in a nail biter to the Albion Chargers 14-12. The Renegades was looking to rebound from the last week loss when they went to Albion to do battle with the undefeated Albion Chargers who the week before beat the Makos 51-0. The Chargers was looking to put more points on the board when #5 Martinez Braye striped the ball on their own two yard line and scored on a 98 yard for an 8-6 Chargers lead. The Renegades came out late in the fourth quarter with backup QB #7 David Lafleur who hooked up with #12 Jim Brown to be down 14-12. #80 Darrell Searcy had also (5 rec. 108 yards 4 carries 23 yards)
June 4 Renegades 18 Southern Michigan Storm (LSFL) 13
After coming on strong late in their last game, the Renegades pick up their first win of the season, with a come from behind win over the Southern Michigan Storm 18-13. The storm got a big break early in the first quarter for when #80 Darrell Searcy a 12 year vet botches the punt and the Storm recovered deep in Renegades territory and scored to go up 7-0. The Storm took a 13-6 lead into the half. Late in the game #12 Jim Brown scored for the second time on a 33 yard drew. Jim Brown single-handedly won the game, scoring all 3 (2 rec. 1 run) touchdowns.
June 11 Detroit Black Ravens (OVFL) 13 Renegades 6
The Renegades were upset by the up coming Ravens. The Ravens got on the board first with a QB rollout to go up 6-0 then the Renegades started moving the ball when early in the 1st quarter QB #1 Chris Little was knock out of the game (season). The Ravens took a 6-0 lead into the half. The Renegades move the ball with no problem when #52 Javon Fullilove fumble the ball inside the 20 yard-line. Then the Renegades drove down the field when Fullilove ran in for the score, but wait "holding" no score. The Renegades had the ball first in goal and didn?t score. The Renegades held them to put when Searcy got the ball inside the 15 yard-line "clipping" now they take the ball at their own 45 yard-line. The Renegades pounded the ball to get within the 15 yard-line when Braye passed to Searcy to get on the 1 yard-line then a false start, Renegades turned the ball over. Late in the 3rd quarter the Renegades got on the board a QB sneak by #5 Martinez Braye. With less the 2 minutes left in the game the Renegades was looking to score with the ball on the 1 yard-line QB change the call and tried to sneak the ball in but was stopped, Ravens take over at their own 1 yard-line.
June 18 Cleveland Rebels (IND) 12 Renegades 6
With another tough lost for the Renegades, as they lose to the Rebels. Rebels got on the board first with a run of 18 yards. The Renegades got a 37 yard touch down pass from rookie QB #11 Demarkes Puckett (10-18-137 yds 1 TD) to #4 Deon Waters (1 rec. 1 td) to tie the score at 6-6. Early if the fourth quarter the Rebels pick up a fumble by Puckett to ma it a 12-6 lead in game. Late in the 4th quarter Renegades drive up the field from their own twenty-five yard line to the 3 yard line then a fumble Rebels recover. The Renegades defense was led by #52 Javon Fullilove (9 tackles 4 solo) #80 Darrell Searcy (5 rec. 73 yds.)
June 25 Michigan Steelers (LSFL) 28 Renegades 14
The Steelers come into the game with several formal Renegades with had a great impact on the game. the Steelers are also looking for a win after getting beat by the Seminoles the week before. The Renegades come into the game with a 1-4 record all tough losses. The Steelers go up early with a TD run by #8 Robert Armory (formal Renegade) then a touchdown pass from #12 Aaron Bell (formal Renegade) to #86 Clifford Starlard to lead 14-0 before the Renegades got on the board when #24 Eric Coleman broke free with a 43 yard run and Fullilove on the 2 point conversion making the score 14-8. After the half the Steelers got on the board again with a touchdown pass to #6 Phillip Hargrove (formal Renegade) to make it 21-8. Then the Renegades got a 36 yard touchdown reception from Darrell Searcy late in the game to make it 28-14.

The Renegades was shutout against the Cardinals, the Renegades defense was on top of their game as they held the Cardinals to a 6-0 lead at half. The Cardinals got on the board in the third quarter of the game with a deep pass. The Renegades was led by Darrell Searcy on offense and Javon Fullilove on defense.
July 16 Metro Detroit Saints (MLFA) 16 Renegades 0
For the second week in a row the Renegades has been shut out, the Renegades defense held the Saint in check for the first quarter of the game. The Renegades moved the ball with ease down the field. With the lack of defensives starters missing the Renegades held to a 0-0 tie till late into the second quarter of the game with a 12 yard pass. The Saints came out of the half with the opening play with a 75 yard pass for a TD. Then the Renegades started moving the ball when but just keep coming up short. With six players getting injured in the game, DB #24 Eric Coleman & WR #80 Darrell Searcy had to go both ways the entire game.
July 23 Ohio Invaders (NAFL) 26 Renegades 12
The Renegades struck first on their third possession. A 60 yard strike #1 (Henry) to #80 (Searcy) and a failed 2 point conversion. On the Invaders third possession of the 2nd quarter they get into the end zone on a 7 yard pass from #18 (Kareem Hunt) to #24 (Cedric Freely) and no 2 point conversion. On the very next drive the Invaders put up 6 more on a 9 yard pass from #18 (Kareem) to #35 (Ryan Corrigan) failed kick. On their first drive in the 3rd, Michigan struck again on a swing pass from #1 (Henry) to #33 (Littlejohn) failed extra point making the score 12-12. The Invaders struck back - the first time they got the ball in the 4th on a 40 yard pass from Hunt to Freely, the extra point failed. On the kick off the Invaders tried an onside which was recovered by #5 (Ron Brotherton). During the next series, Kareem was sacked on 3rd and 10 to make it 4th and 25. #27 (Ryan Brotherton) came on to punt, he bobbled the snap so instead of forcing a bad kick, he found Cedric open for a 78 yard touch down pass. The 2 point conversion was good on a QB keep by Hunt #18.

The Renegades got off to a bad start from the beginning of the game with a fumble on their first play of the game. With the Renegades offense given up 3 TD's in the game, at the half the Renegades were down 12-0. The Renegades came out in the second half able to move the ball, but just could not put points on the board. QB Laflure throwing three interceptions in and three fumble in the game. With Greg King (11 tackles 5 solo 1 sack) lead the defense, the Renegades held the Ravens in check most of the game only given up 6 points. The offense was lead by Darrell Searcy with (7 catches 103 yards). The Renegades also got Three big catches from rookie WR Jason Gartsu (4 catches 60 yards).

September 17 Detroit Downriver Diesel (NAFL) 28 Renegades 8
The Diesels come into the game with a record of 8-0 looking to put the some points on the Renegades they jump on the Renegades fast with their running game to #31 for most of that first drive then top it of with a pass to #6 for the first score of the game. The Diesels took a 14-0 lead into the half. The Renegades got good yardage on their opening kickoff return from #80 Darrell Searcy who broke one up the middle of the field to the other side of the 50 yard line. With strong running from #8 Keys and (4)catches from Searcy to set up for the second week in a row the Renegades got points on the board with a touchdown pass from #7 Dave Laflure to #9 Beotis Wray to make the score 14-8. The Renegades made two key turnovers and two drop touchdown passes.

This was a game with all the hype added, as both teams where loaded with players from other teams, where you had the Renegades team which had some Metro Detroit Saints, Waterford Warthogs, Detroit Seminoles and a Albion Charger player. Then you had the Ravens who also were loaded with Michigan Steelers, Southern Michigan Timberwolves, formal Michigan Titans and formal Jackson Bombers. The Renegades got scores from Harvey Brown & Clarence Chude of the Saints.

The Renegades start the season off right with a win over the Southern Michigan Storm. The Renegades got three INT's from #9 Beotis Wray. The "D" got a total of 8 turnovers (4 fumbles and 4 Int's). #1 Chris Little had two touchdowns passes to rookie #88 Kyle Davis (45 Yds) and #4 Deon Waters (12 yds)and with that win the Renegades are 1-0.
JUNE 12 LANSING LIGHTNING (LSFL) 28 Renegades 18
The Renegades go into Lansing looking to make it 2-0 despite getting 3 TD's from #80 Searcy (65, 18, 40 yds) the Renegades took a disappointing lost. A uncalled for fake punt inside their own 2 yard line by #5 Martinez Braye, with the Renegades only down 12-6 before the Lightning scored on a run play. Now the Renegades are down 20-6. Renegades throw two more TD's to "Searcy" to make the score 20-18 Lightning. On 4th and 9 at the 40 yard line #9 Beotis Wary interceptions a pass then only to fumbles at their own 4 yrd line. The Renegades had one more chance but the ball was intercepted and return for a touchdown to make the game 28-18. With the lost the Renegades go to 1-1.
JUNE 19 GLASS CITY GRIZZLIES (LSFL)
The game against the Grizzlies was canceled due to the Grizzlies folding. In team history the Renegades has never taken a forfeit as a win.
JUNE 26 Renegades 28 ALBION CHARGERS (IND) 9
The Renegades got rushing TD's from three different players #1 Little, #8 Keys, #5 Braye (2). The Renegades rushed for 329 as a team and Keys rushed for 120 himself. Albion took a 9-6 lead at the half. The Renegades came out with an aggressive rushing game to take control of the game in the second half. Renegades go to 2-1
JULY 10 - SOUTHERN MICHIGAN TIMBERWOLVES (MCFL) 47 Renegades 6
The Renegades was just demolished by the Timberwolves running game, as former Michigan Wolverines fullback Chris Flyod rushed for 2 touchdowns on 16 carries and rushed for 224 yards total in the game. The T-wolves rushed for 404 yards to the Renegades 27. The Renegades only score of the game came from #24 Eric Coleman on a fumble recover. With that lost the Renegades go to 2-2.

JULY 24 - Ohio Invaders 14 Renegades 8
The Invader came into Detroit looking to steal one from the Renegades. The Invaders got all 14 points in the first quarter of the game from a fumble recover and a QB keeper to take a 14-0 lead. The Renegades came out looking good but just couldn't get it going. Late in the forth quarter of the game #1 Chris Little hits #80 Darrell Searcy for a 55 yards TD (#52 Fullilove 2 pts.) to make the score 14-8. The Renegades drops to 0-2 in league play and 2-4 overall.
AUGUST 7 - Columbus Xtreme (LSFL) 20 Renegades 8
The Xtreme got off to a good start from their opening drive to make the score 7-0. The Xtreme then scored again with a pass to #82 to make the 14-0. Midway into the third quarter the Xtreme scored again on a 3 yard run to make the store 20-0 (block kick). The Renegades got going with a short passing game as the Renegades got the ball into the Xtreme 30 yard line four times in which three was killed by turnovers (int's). With three minutes left in the game #11 Chris Little finds #88 Kyle Davis for a TD (Crawford 2 pts.) The Renegades drop to a 2-5 overall record.
AUGUST 14 Renegades 8 Invaders 6
The Renegades look to make it even with the Invaders, who came into Detroit and left with a 14-8 win over the Renegades. The Renegades go into Cleveland looking to steal a win. The game was a defensive struggle for both teams, the Renegades cause the invaders to fumbles and the Invaders cause the Renegades to interception. Midway through the third quarter the Renegades started building momentum as #1 Chris Little finds #80 Darrell Searcy for a 35 yard touchdown to make the score 6-0 (Fullilove 2 pts.)8-0 Renegades. With less then two minutes left the game the Invaders got on the board with a run up the middle to make it a 8-6 game. The Invaders went for two, but the Renegades with a goal line stand the Renegades beat the Invaders 8-6. The Renegades go to 1-2 in league play and 3-5 overall on the season.
AUGUST 21 - Renegades 2 Pittsburgh Tornadoes 0 forfeit
The game against the Tornadoes was canceled due to the Tornadoes folding. Normally in team history the Renegades has never taken a forfeit win, but for league play this makes the Renegades 2-2 4-5 over all. The Renegades played the Ohio Dogs in Barberton, Ohio in place of the folded Pittsburgh Tornadoes. The Renegades went on to beat to Dogs 22-6 with only twenty-one players. The Renegades got three rushing touchdowns two by #52 Javon Fullilove. 3-2 league play and 5-5 overall.
AUGUST 28 - Genesee County Patriots 33 Renegades 6
Renegades opened up scoring with an early touchdown in the air to #88 Kyle Davis. From there, the Patriots took over, scoring 33 straight unanswered points. The Renegades had other opportunity to score in the second half, but the Patriot defense held in the red zone and stripped the ball for a turnovers, and defensive stands. The Renegades got 3 sacks by #5 Martinez Braye in a disappointing loss. The Renegades drop to a 5-6 overall record.
SEPTEMBER 4 Renegades 2 Dogs 0 forfeit
The game against the Ohio Dogs was canceled due to the Dogs folding so the Renegades league record stands at 4-2 and a 6-6 overall. And the Renegades went to play the London Silverbacks in London, ON with only 25 players the Renegades gave the Silverbacks a 33-8 win over the Renegades. Once again the Renegades came out with the first score of the game #88 Kyle Davis, and for the second week in a row a team runs off 33 straight unanswered points. With no tailbacks, the Renegades had to go with #80 Darrell Searcy as their starting tailback who rushed for 89 yards. With that lose the Renegades has a league record of 4-2 but drop to 6-7 overall.
SEPTEMBER 11 Detroit Downriver Diesels 40 Renegades 8
The Renegades #1 Chris Little had a touchdown pass to #80 Darrell Searcy (15 Yds) for the Renegades only score of the game. The Renegades lose for third week in a row, going into the playoffs against the North Coast Outlaws.

The Renegades went into the game looking to advance to the championship game was derailed by the Outlaws. Where the Renegades went to Cleveland shorthanded with only one starting LB and DB the Renegades know they was if for a long night. The Outlaws pounded the Renegades light LB chore when runs up the middle, when the Renegades stop the runs up the middle they go to the air with passes.
