Great Run Bulldogs! Thank You for entertaining us all season. You've given us memories that will last a lifetime. Seniors you have taught upcoming Bulldogs, that it can be done! This was definately not the goal coming in to this season, but when you look back at the previous two seasons, the program is in a better place now than when you arrived. 2009 may not have included a trip to Austin in June, but if the continued work is put in, as you have shown, the future Bulldogs teams are primed for success!
The senior class of 2010 look forward to helping the Bulldogs become Champions once again.

The returning varsity players for the 2009-2010 season are dedicated and anxious for another District Championship. Winning Bi-District and Area only put a desire in the players to continue the winning and not to stop until they have taken care of business in Austin.

GO DAWGS!
Derek Barosh (LHP/1B/CF) - Commits to Texas State
Brett Thornell (SS) - Commits to Texas A&M
Derek Barosh and Brett Thornell are living every young boy's dream of continuing their baseball career after high school. Derek has committed to play baseball for the Texas State Bobcats and Brett has committed to play for the Texas A&M Aggies after completing their senior year for the Bulldogs. For the players to commit this early in the fall of their senior years, speaks volumes for the ability, toughness, desire and work ethic of both young men. The commitments are also a tribute to the dedication of the Bulldog coaching staff. Head Coach Dale Westmoreland, Assistant Coach Casey Westmoreland and Assistant Coach Jason Fojt have built the baseball program into one of the best in the state. Both players are grateful to the coaches for their time, support, and development of the boys' talents. Derek and Brett have started on Varsity for the Bulldogs since their freshman year. They have been a vital part of the rebuilding of the Bulldog Baseball program and the District, Bi-District and Area Championships of 2009. Congratulations to Derek, Brett and their families for such a great honor. Texas State and Texas A&M have acquired two great young men and athletes. We wish them only the best this year and in the future.
