I am excited about this year.  I thank you for trusting me enough to coach your sons.  Every decision that I make will somehow impact your sons and I will be held accountable before the Lord.  Trust me my basketball days are over and I have nothing to prove or no fantasy dream to try to live out through your children or mine.  I am coaching because it is a great platform to use to build Christian character in our young boys.  I am therefore an extension of what you are teaching them in the your home.

The Bible tells us to make disciples Matthew 28:18-20 and II Timothy 2:2 says, And the things that you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.

Biblical manhood:  Reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and invest eternally.  These are the things I want to teach your sons.
