The Md Sure Shots 15-U National Team is looking for a few good players who are committed to playing at the highest level. The defending state champions lost several players from last years national team and is looking to rebuild this years squad to the same competitive level.

MD Lady Comets Girls 13U AAU Program is looking for a few good players for its 2009 team. The MLC 13U Ladies are currently playing this winter in the Arbutus League . In 2008, the Hurricanes finished in 3rd place in the Classic bracket at Div. II Nationals in New Haven, CT! The 12U Hurricanes are coached by three former college players in Jonathan Scruggs, Freddie Newman-Blount, and Lillian Drumgold (also a former Hurricane). The 2009 season will be head coach, Jonathan Scruggs, 6th AAU season (3rd with the Hurricanes and 3 previous with the Dayton Lady Hoopstars in Dayton, OH). Coach Scruggs has coached in 4 (3 Div. I and 1 Div. II) AAU national tournaments in 5 seasons. Coach Scruggs also has 5 former players currently playing college basketball at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels. The goal for the 2009 12U Hurricanes is to compete for the 12U Maryland Division I District championship and qualify for AAU Division I Nationals!

Baltimore’s Charm Basketball Club has been formed to give female college bound student-athletes an opportunity to improve their basketball skills through mastering the fundamentals and competing against the top competition regionally and nationally. The road to college starts at an early age. Just like a parent who wants to help their young child succeed by providing a solid base, Baltimore’s Charm would like to give young female student-athletes that solid base to prepare them for the college exposure years.
