12U Mavericks Win Lowcountry Bash Congratulations to the 12U Mavericks for winning the Lowcountry Bash held in Mt. Plesant SC. This was the first Tournament of the Spring Season for the 12U Mavericks. Championship Game was a 7-6 win over the Lowcountry Hurricanes. The Mavericks posted a 3-1 record for the Tournament with wins over the Summerville Hawks, Pro Level and the Lowcountry Hurricanes. WAY TO GO MAVERICKS! Wednesday, December 10 Mavericks 12U Majors Congratulations to the Mavericks 12U Majors for finishing Runner Up in the East Coast Clash of Champions & the Winter Nationals. Thursday, July 31 USSSA SUMMER NATIONALS On Friday, July 25th The Mavericks 12U Baseball Team traveled to Lexington SC to compete in the USSSA Summer Nationals. After three days in the blistering heat they returned home with a 6-1 record and Championship Rings. It was a tournament that had all eleven players make key contributions, Ryan Locklear, Chase Stoudemire and Dillon Salisbury pitched complete games for three of the victories. Other pitchers with superb performances were Seth Lancaster, Bryce Kunkle, Jeffery Stone and closer Sterling Fiddie. Leading the hitting with multiple Home Runs were Seth Lancaster (3), Ryan Locklear (2) Parker Little (2), and Bryce Kunkle (2). Contributing with key hits and good defense were Jared Dobbels, Britt Pipkin and Sean Fye. The Mavericks Organization will be holding try-outs for 12U & 13U on August 17th from 3:00-5:00 for the Fall Season anyone interested in trying out can contact Moncks Corner Town Hall @ 719-7900. Monday, July 28 Mavericks Win Summer Nationals Congratulations to the Moncks Corner Mavericks 12U for winning the USSSA Summer Nationals with a record of 6-1. The Mavericks defeated the North Augusta Stingers in the Championship Game 16-10. The Mavericks finished the season ranked 11th in USSSA 12UAAA. WAY TO GO MAVERICKS!

Saturday, August 22 Mavericks 13U 2009 Fall Season The tentative schedule for the fall season will be as follows: Sept. 12-13, Low Country Throw down, Goose Creek SC Sept. 19-20, Diamond Warrior Challenge, Mount Pleasant SC, Oct. 2-4, Fall State Championships, Lexington SC, Oct. 17-18, Hendersonville, NC, or Myrtle Beach, SC. There will be a team fee of $100.00 due to the Town of Moncks Corner by Sept. 4 and a fee of $25.00 due to the team also by Sept. 4. To keep the cost down for the fall season, we will wear our uniforms from the spring season. All new players will have an extra cost for their uniform which will include two jerseys and one hat for around $50.00-$60.00. Also any returning players needing jerseys or hats will be charged as well.
