 At a time when our schools and recreation centers are cutting back on extra-curricular activities, Maryland Cheer Explosion (MCE) All-Stars is filling the void by promoting exercise, team work, and good sportsmanship through cheerleading. We need your help! MCE is seeking financial sponsors to help our cheerleading program be successful in the 2008-2009 season and beyond. By sponsoring MCE, you will not only be helping to increase our ability to help youth through offering need-based scholarships, but also be assisting in purchasing uniforms, gym equipment, uniform accessories, camp and tumbling fees. Furthermore, your contribution will also help absorb traveling costs for our athletes who compete nationally. MCE athletes are given the opportunity to travel and perform in front of audiences of up to 5,000 people. The cost to be a part of a successful competitive all-star cheerleading program can exceed $3,500 a year per athlete.
Maryland Cheer Explosion (MCE) is a non-profit, volunteer based all-star cheerleading organization that has been dedicated to promoting high self-confidence, self-esteem, self-discipline, academic excellence, physical fitness, leadership, and social development through competitive cheerleading for the youth in the Washington Metropolitan Area since 2000.
MCE is one of the most popular, prestigious, non-profit all-star cheerleading programs on the East Coast. MCE is located in Upper Marlboro, MD and is comprised of cheerleaders ranging from ages 4 to 18.
MCE, known as the “trainers of the complete athlete”, is the training center of very competitive and skilled all-star teams, ranked nationally in the United States for the past eight years. Since our conception, nine years ago, MCE has reached remarkable levels in our strive towards cheerleading excellence. MCE has been the pioneer for other all-star squads, paving the way and breaking grounds at some of the most prestigious competitions.
