2010 UMPIRE NEWS
In 2010, all leagues will be required to use ASA registered umpires for all leagues (Exception is Ponytail). The rule will be that the Chief Umpire for each game played will be ASA registered. In tournament play, all umpires must be ASA.
There is a reason for this and it comes down to consistency. Because we use ASA rules, we will use ASA umpires. MHSAA umpire certification will not work, so if you are an MHSAA umpire you need to become ASA registered as well.

Just so you know, the official umpire uniform for our organization is the dark blue slacks/shorts and the powder blue shirt with the MASA logo.
